"Overall they did NOT do what they were paid to do. 1) They were paid $25,000 to document and remove the contents and on numerous occasions they opened a drawer and took one picture, or they missed an area entirely. I would say about 30% of the contents were documented in this way. Their job was to document everything so we could file a comprehensive claim. I personally spent over 150 hours working on the contents inventory to make up for their shortcomings. 2) They were paid an additional $5,691.95 to clean some of the contents that could be salvaged. Numerous items, we can only document 14 of them, are missing from the cleaned contents totaling a value of over $7,000. WDR's response was oh we made a mistake and disposed of those items and you will be reimbursed by the insurance company for their value (of course depreciated) so no harm was done. Of course there is harm!! These items had not only material but sentimental value! We lost everything in my parents home of 50+ years and they just threw the things away. Very Very unprofessional. 3) In the boxes of items that were cleaned and returned we have found items that were never ours, how many people have they switched or lost items on??"

"Stan is the man!  He spent an hour going under the house to inspect a leak and possible leak.  He caulked the leak from outside and didn't find any leak where there was a possibility.  After that he was going to clear the bathtub drain but after he opened the overflow found it was a problem with the stopper not working properly and fixed it in minutes.  He didn't try to overcharge me or scare me with overkill repairs on the leaks.  He was honest, hardworking and knew his way around the pipes!  I will definitely use him again instead of the big companies I've called in the past who always have hefty bids for unnecessary preventative work.

"EDI renovated our house in Mill Valley around February. They remodeled our kitchen, opened some walls that helped improve the amount of light coming in to the kitchen and to have more open spaces. They built a bathroom and a restroom in our existing house, replaced two windows and replaced the floors. There was a bit more work around. The experience with EDI was very positive for us and we are happy to recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a good contractor."

"The work was sloppy and they used my personal tarps to handle their materials for the work. They also made a mess of my patio with leftover stucco from the job. I had the owners come back out and power wash my patio, supply me with a new hose and tarp."

He has also done numerous projects for my aging parents and my aunt. Like all of us, I have hired more vendors than I can count that have been disappointing on pretty much every level - some of whom I almost think I need therapy to get over. William is honestly a breath of fresh air. He shows up when he says he will, does the job efficiently and effectively, and is truly easy to work with. I have never once regretted taking his advice and at this point often just ask him what he thinks will work best and then run with that. My only regret is not hiring him more frequently in the past and having had to suffer through so many other vendors and disastrous projects."
