"I had doubts from the beginning because the cost was so reasonable. Having replaced grout myself as a general contractor, I knew how hard it was. But I learned you don't need to take out all the grout. They only remove the top 1/16 of an inch. When I saw this I was REALLY skeptical but the technician, who was the son of the owner, was so calm and confident I decided to suspend judgement until the job was completed. He started by scraping out the old grout in the worst areas, like next to the sink, then proceeded to steam clean the whole kitchen so the old grout would match the new. I had already had the tile steam cleaned the week before by the carpet cleaner so I had doubts they could get it much cleaner. The technician started by applying a cleaning solution and letting it sit for 20 minutes. When he got done I was blown away at how much whiter the old grout looked. 99% of all the stains came out. He then applied the new grout in the designated areas and it came out better then I expected. The color of the new grout matches the old and the kitchen counters look like new. I would use this company again in a heart beat. The technician was professional and considerate. He even called to tell me he would be a half hour late instead of just showing up late. Unbeknownst to me, the woman that came out the week before to give me the estimate was one of the owners, the technicians mother. This is a great family run operation."

"It was easy to work with them from start to finish.  I contacted Zach Levy on one day and my bathroom was transformed by 2PM the following day!  In order for this to happen so speedily, Zach used texting of photos to recommend a solution, provide a price, and schedule the job.  Zach guided me about which photos to take.  I sent him pictures of the entire tub/shower and bathroom sink counter and also provided detailed photos that showed the problems.  He got right back to me with an estimate and scheduled the job.  It turned out that he had an available slot the following day and that worked for me.  The technician arrived on time, handled the contractual side quickly and easily, and got to work after a grout color was selected.  He took precautions to keep any dust inside the room and not have it spread into adjacent rooms. The job took 6 hours and the technician asked any decision questions along the way so that the final result was exactly what I wanted. Upon asking, the technician showed me the materials they were using,  They use top-notch materials with longevity.  For example, the GE caulk has a 7-year no-mold warranty!  The results looked great and we let it sit without use for 2 days to let everything set (36 hours was recommended by the technician).  After that time the walls and sink counter were wiped down.  In doing so, one small spot on the countertop rubbed off, revealing the dark, old grout below.  I took an overall and detailed photo and sent it to Zach with a brief explanation.  I asked if they could come back and fix this one spot.  I got an immediate "yes" and we'll be getting that done shortly.  Things happen.  It's how it's handled that's important.  Their services are expedient and professional.  My bathroom is now clean as a whistle; it's a spa experience.  I do have one regret - it's that I did not find them sooner!  Thanks go to American Grout Specialist. <br />"
