"I recently engaged All-Star Mechanical to replace my aging A/C unit. I am normally vigilant in securing multiple bids on larger jobs like this but have come to learn from earlier experiences that Larry at All-Star always comes through with a top shelf job at a very reasonable price. He is someone I know I can trust and no longer even seek competing bids for heating and cooling as a result. My new AC unit is performing very well after a string of recent hot summer days. Cooling seems more constant and quiet compared to our old unit. It is also cooling the far reaches of our upstairs spaces better than before. What is especially important to note is that our house is on the larger side at 4,500 sqft and our new A/C unit, a Trane 3.5 ton unit, is cooling our house as it should… and even better than our previous 5.0 ton unit ever did. I was skeptical when Larry first recommended going with a smaller unit as virtually every site I checked online advised installing a unit of 5 or more tons for a house that size. My conclusion is that Larry was completely right. This did not surprise me as he really knows his profession inside and out. The industry seems unified in pushing homeowners to buy more (spend more) than they need. I am very happy with the smaller unit that delivers a steady flow of cool air rather than the shorter on and off blasts of cool air. The air in our house also seems dryer, telling me that the smaller unit is especially effective at dehumidifying the air, another critical function of air conditioning. In short, we are very happy with Larry’s advice and the results of his work."

"I called because the gas was going off when I turned on the gas logs of the fireplace.  He came within the hour on a Saturday, explained and showed what the problem was and how it would be repaired.  He then returned the logs in a nice fashion and cleaned up all debris.  A very satisfactory result all around. <br />"

"I recently purchased a house in Lansing. After purchase I noticed a musty smell and found that the roof was previously damaged. I reached out to 4 local Lansing contractors and 2 regional contractors. Of the six, only Elieff Brothers Roofing gave me a quote that was appropriate to the code for a low slope roof. On installation day we found that the previous roofing contractor had violated building code and used some unorthodox materials and methods and changed the scope of work to do my job right. Steve (one of the Elieff brothers) was on my roof immediately to figure out what was going on. Steve explained the situation, provided evidence of previous substandard work, went over all the options including cost and quality so that I could make an informed decision. With their many years in the business in Lansing, he was able to provide me with several options for insulation replacement, mold remediation contractors that he trusted. Steve and team were able to coordinate with the additional contractors to get my roof done .. and done right. I can't thank Steve, Rhett, DJ, Cooper and his awesome crew enough. This was basically the most stressful house nightmare I've ever had and these guys just kept telling me that it's nothing they hadn't seen before and it's going to be solid when they are done. These guys bent over backwards for me. The quality is top notch, their teams are well trained and get it done. Just amazing. You guys knocked it out of the park. I am so glad I chose Elieff Brothers Roofing. Even though this job turned out to be bigger than expected, had this been a standard roof and deck replacement this would have been easily the best price of all the local contractors. They had the honest price for the work they did. Again, they where the only company that quoted the job to meet building code requirements. These guys should be on your list of roofers to call, you won't be disappointed. I wish I could give six stars. They are that good at what they do. "The installer was professional and skilled very knowledgeable about the process. The windows were replaced in just a couple hours. One of my windows was incorrect when he arrived and the installer made a phone call and someone delivered the correct window to him in a very timely manner/quickly. Most other installers/companies would have rescheduled me and not completed the project the same day. The man who measured and quoted my windows was just as professional as the installer.
