"This was my second project with F and J, and they both went well and were completed as projected.  In order to contain some of the costs, it was my desire to do some of the minor  updates  myself (painting, mirror installation, towelbars, and drawer pulls.  F and J are very detail oriented, and would have done a fine job with these, for anyone not wanting to do it themselves.   Also, I think they offer several "turnkey"  remodels for standard bathroom sizes.    Jack was very flexible, and allowed me to purchase my own cabinets, plumbing fixtures, counter top and shower doors (rather than run it all through his account).  So the job amount shown above does not include these elements, which added about another $3000.  I still saved a bundle over some of my other estimates, and  I'm totally thrilled with the final results!  I was also pleased with the tasteful design suggestions.  Jack really does care about his customers. <br />"

"Great from start to finish. Unlike some other bidders, there was no high-pressure salesmanship when we discussed the quote. There was some lag between signing the contract and starting the job but we were well informed ahead of time and project manager Jake Strank kept us in the loop about any schedule changes (there weren't many). The guys were above-and-beyond patient with kids and dogs hovering around the site. They finished the job when they said they would. The house looks beautiful. The quote originally sounded high but when I added it all up--2 or 3 guys per day x more than 2 weeks plus all the extras we wanted--it seemed more reasonable. Thanks Jake & crew! "The plumber they hired did not check his helper's work, resulting in the bathroom vanity being damaged and kitchen sink not installed right which damaged the counter top.  (We used the kitchen from our previous house because it was fairly new and in excellent shape.)  The counter top was fixed, but the damage is noticeable and we're already thinking of having a new counter top.  Also, we're not happy with the performance of the kitchen sink.  They should have had a kitchen specialist put the kitchen in, not handymen.  Also, they installed the blinds, but didn't shorten them.  The builder should have communicated choices on materials before they installed them.  Know who your builder uses to complete the work, because that's ultimately a reflection on the quality of the builder's project.  We'd rehire our builder for certain jobs. <br /> <br /> (P.S.: We have a few months left on the warranty.)"

"The measuring and estimating was done very professionally. The door was very high quality. There was a little confusion on their part whether or not the door had to be special or standard and required multiple people visiting, which slowed things down about 2 weeks, but they got it sorted out and was not a problem, just took a little longer. Installation was excellent, professional. We are very happy with the job and the door especially is very nice. We will definitely be contacting them to look at future projects."
