He fixed my TV after another repair service told me the situation was hopeless if I didn't spend an unreasonable amount of money with them (after, of course, they'd missed their first appointment with me). "OK.. this was my first experience using Provident Electric and I now know why they have been voted Frederick's Best ( Frederick Magazine ). I had contact with them before, once when the owner Larry came out and gave me a great estimate on a generator which I am buying as soon as possible, and the other when I had an electrical problem that magically cleared up when his techs entered the house. ( I"m not saying that Provident has supernatural abilities but ......) This fix I needed was two of my lines from the breaker box were showing open grounds and Provident sent out two technicians, Joel and Nick. They worked together really well and I was impressed with their attention to the details and even more importantly how they were insistent on letting me know the why and how they were fixing it. Once they got the problem fixed, they discovered an another electrical issue dealing with a rodent chewing into my line and fixed it. Bonus: It was about half the price I expected too and I have used a lot of electricians in my time as a landlord. From my experiences with Larry, Brittany, Joel and Nick, it's obvious that Provident cares a lot about customer service and frankly, I don't see you'd use anyone else."
