He repaired the plumbing, put in a new subfloor and installed a walk in shower. He was a hard worker and answered any questions we had. Our bathroom looks beautiful! We are very happy. And there is a lifetime warranty!"

"We were getting my mothers home ready for rental and needed a full remodel of one bathroom. One of the best contractors in town (and we have used several). They are professional, polite, thorough, and work as a team. They left the job site clean each day and worked with us on a few added items (update of a half-bath, replacement of faucet set in the kitchen, and fire hydrant). One of the things that impressed us so much about this company is their teamwork. They like each other and get along well. Their ranks include professional tradespeople with decades of experience. The level of communication they have between teams helps make their work efficient and time-sensitive. They started the job the day they set and were fabulous at estimating how long it would take. "I will try to keep this short and pithy.  At the end of the day we got a good quality door/product. However to get there was a very frustrating process.  We ordered the doors and we had to follow up a couple times even when we were told that we would be contacted as soon as the doors came in.  Then finally they came to install and Mark said it would be a few hours and then done.  Well not quite.  When the installer came to install the main door there was a screen door we also ordered so we asked about that and of course he knew nothing about that.  So only the main door was installed and the other door wasn't until the next day.  Then we noticed there was a part of the trim which was missing after installation at the bottom of the door on the inside (so we could just see into the floor a little bit). So we called and made an appointment for Mark to come out to fix. So I stayed home from work (the appointment was at 9:00).   At 9:15 nothing so I tried calling Legacy and no answer. I waited
a little longer, still nothing.  So at 9:45 I left a very direct message since I was very frustrated at that point and Mark never returned my call. I called again about 10:45 very upset and he answered so he basically ignored my initial voicemail.  When I told him that I stayed home from work for our appointment, his first reaction was that an appointment wasn't made to which I said yes absolutely it was and that it needed to be fixed that day (since it had been well over a week since the doors were installed).  When he arrived he did admit that yes indeed an appointment was made. He came and looked at it and of course said yes they missed a part then he went to a store to buy the part and came and took 5 minutes to install and then finally the process was done.
All Legacy employees/contractors I met with were very nice and good to work with it was just Mark's communication which was our issue. Maybe he was just having a bad few weeks or perhaps the fact that we are fairly young homeowners he thought he could take advantage of us, we don?t know.  I do know that we didn't enjoy dealing with him after we made the order (of course during the sales process he was fine).
I would not say I wouldn't use them again since at the end of the day we got a good product which is obviously most important.  I would, however,  get some quotes with a couple other companies as well and if we did use Legacy again we would make sure up front to let him know our expectations and I would recommend anybody else who uses him after reading this review do the same.
