"**Robert was very calm, cool, and collected!!!! I got a call from my tenant at about 1p on a Sunday afternoon, that her kitchen ceiling was leaking water. I suspected there was a plumbing issue right away, and I reached out to Robert. Instantly, Robert said he would go take a look after he completed his job across town. Heroically, Robert made it there in about 30 mins and discovered the issue was a clogged pipe, and used all his tools in his belt to help me clear the clogged drain issue. Long story short -- he fixed everything before 3p 😮😮😮 Thank you Robert!! You are the man!! I will call you without hesitation moving forward!!! "

"Short version: <br /> They got the job done, but it took two visits and cost about 2-3 times more than it should have because they initially arrived with the wrong equipment and then recommended an unnecessary, expensive video scan.  The extra cost was due to their error and they should have covered at least some of it (if not all) but they refused. <br /> <br /> Details: <br /> <br /> Our sewer line backed up between our house and the street, and so I called In and Out to clear it.  They arrived with nothing but a hand snake because supposedly other equipment was in the shop.  The plumber was able to (temporarily) clear the obstruction with the hand snake.  Charge: $250, which also included cleaning the trap in one of our interior sinks.  So far so good (although if I'd known they'd come with just a hand snake, I would have done it myself...) <br /> Two weeks later, the line backs up again, because the hand snake only punched a small hole in the obstruction rather clear it completely.  I called In and Out to come back with the correct equipment.   <br /> <br /> This time they arrived with the proper equipment, including the full sized snake and water jet to clear the roots.  Given the previous failure to remove the blockage, they recommended sending the video camera down the pipes to diagnose the problem.  Problem = roots from the trees near the sewer line (surprise!).  They used the snake + water jet to remove the roots and clear the obstruction.  Now everything works.  Bill = another $775.   <br /> <br />  Why do they get a C grade? <br /> Issue 1: they refused to refund any of the money from their first, failed intervention.  If they'd just arrived with the right equipment, we would have removed the roots on day one, sparing us another sewer back up and another expensive visit.  They brought the wrong equipment and didn't solve the problem -- there should be at least a partial refund.  Even an apology would have been nice.  But I didn't get either.   instead, we come to Issue 2 <br /> <br />  Issue 2:  when they came back, they recommended an unnecessary (and very expensive) video scan of our system which just turned up the obvious problem of roots from the nearby tree. <br /> Total cost was over $1000, for a job where most plumbers would have just gone in with the big snake + jet on day one and knocked out the roots for $250-400.   In and Out ultimately fixed the problem, but we had to endure 2 days of sewer back up and paid 2-3x what we should have. <br /> <br /> On the plus side, they were always very prompt, professional, and friendly in person (aside from issues noted above)"

"Overall it went well. Team was on time and mostly cleaned up after themselves. We had two minor callbacks due to the same joint leak (where new copper was joined to a small run of existing copper). One other issue was they helped us clear all the sediment out of the faucets upon completion (as a repipe loosens up a ton of sediment), but they had left two supply lines under the sinks only finger tight and they started to leak -- but I guess after every major plumbing projects you should be on the lookout for leaks for a few weeks after. <br />"

"I called James Caccia plumbing on Thursday morning to have someone unclog our shower drain.  They scheduled a plumber for Thursday afternoon, which was prompt and convenient.  Joe B, the plumber, showed up a few minutes early and was both friendly and professional.  He was very prepared and got to work quickly.  I was happy that Joe was very clean and respectful of our home, taking care in setting up his tools in our bathroom.  He was able to clear the clog in our shower trap within 30 minutes and took the time to make sure the clog was clear.  Joe was thorough cleaning up and getting things put back together. <br /> The only downside was the cost, which at approximately $250 was higher than I expected.  However, I needed the drain unclogged and trusted the company's expertise based on other reviews here.  Joe provided great service and I thank him for that! <br />"
