"I used Movers USA at the beginning of this year to move my 10’ X 15’ storage unit from NE Balt. City to an apartment in Asheville, NC. Prior to my selecting this company, I checked out 6 or 7 other companies also listed on Angi, and along with Movers, seriously interviewed and went over to another company and met with them in person. I dealt with Movers’ owner Sharon Nahoom a number of times through email and in a couple of calls. In addition, I went over to his office located in the very large company storage facility in Jessup. I was impressed with this storeroom being well organized and its’ sheer size and the size and cleanliness of a truck he showed me. In addition, Sharon was friendly and overall fairly accommodating. Mr. Nahoom was the only one honest and clear with me, that as I personal had packed everything, and even though most boxes were clearly labeled, no insurance carrier would insure them as they had not been professionally packed. This honesty saved me at least $300 to $500 on needless insurance. In addition, Sharon was flexible with me on matching some terms that the other company I was serious dealing with offered—-no charge for an extra day of storing my items in the truck, extra steps to the apt, and on pick-up and delivery dates. He was also reasonable with his price—-being on the lower end of the scale from the 7-8 companies I had quotes from. The cheapest by far, was a company located in Washington state that used contracted movers—-but I didn’t want to take a chance with this The pick-up went smoothly, starting on time, and with the foreman—-Fernando, and four younger movers emptying my storage unit into their truck in a couple of hours. Two days later in Asheville, Fernando showed with a lady helper—-but no-one else. He managed to do the bulk of the moving himself up 30 steps—-as the apt was on the third floor. A number of times I had to assist him from his unloading the top couple of boxes—-as he would just carry them up on his back with a large canvas strap! If I had not helped some with some boxes would have fell to the floor. He stated he was in ‘a rush’ as he wanted to get back through the mountains down her before the forecasted storm early that afternoon. Things were rushed as fair as quick decisions by me which room specific boxes and items were put—-as we were dealing with the realities of one mover in a rush, with nice woman periodically bringing up a few more things up. Overall the move went smoothly, but I have concerns that just having one man with some extra help was “putting almost all the eggs in one basket”—-if he had gotten hurt, plus he had done all the 8 plus hour drive here, and was doing the same on the way back. Only thing broke was a worthless drinking glass that I had poorly packed. As I had about 280 boxes I wanted to open them all and see that there was no damaged items. I had taken some items to my sisters in Montgomery Co and then took down most this when I headed south a few days after the storage unit move, and given a number things to Goodwill —-so not sure about a couple of things I thought I still had. Overall I would have given this company somewhere around a “B+” grade but as there are no ‘pluses’ or ‘minuses’ that is why I gave Movers 4 stars rather than the 5."

"They were professional, meticulous, so quick, and very reasonably priced. Completed our 2 bedroom to 2 bedroom local move within 4 hours, complete with assembly and disassembly of furniture. They have everything you can need in terms of wrapping a TV, desks, etc. Truly took the stress out of the moving experience. If you are looking for movers, look no further."

"I have hired the We Move Philly guys several times, for moves to and from DC from Philly, for moves in Philly, for loading and unloading UHauls that I drove myself, and for moving furniture and other things inside my house. They are terrific! Professional, helpful, flexible, efficient and all around nice guys too. Their service is cost-efficient, but never cheap! They have packed, wrapped, protected and transported my daughter's belongings to and from DC (twice), picked up gym equipment we bought from a friend, moved my stepson from one house to another in Philly, with stops at a storage unit, moved two daughters out of my house and into a house in West Philly and helped get my house ready for renovations by relocating furniture. They show up on time, get the work done, and deal with unusual circumstances sometimes (dogs underfoot, odd rules for moving into apartments, perking permits that people ignore in downtown DC, etc), all with good humor. I would recommend them to anyone! "

"The moving crew called ahead of when they would arrive, were on time with that estimate, and performed the entire job within the original two-hour estimate. Even though there were some heavy items and stairs involved, the crew was able to move everything with minimal interruption to others using the building, and took great care to keep walls and doorways from being marked/bumped by the items being moved. The entire crew was polite and kept in communication with us during the entire process, so that the correct items were moved."

"The Litemovers team arrived not only on time,but slightly before their estimated time to get us moved from our old house. The four guys hustled and took great care in moving and packing our belongings onto their truck. They were all friendly and professional, and made a stressful day a bit easier. Don, the on-site foreman, kept the team moving at a good clip and helped to ensure our family and his team were all doing well throughout the process. Rob's humor throughout the day also made the day go a bit faster. The guys took care of our belongings and it was great that they set up all of the beds in their new rooms. I would recommend that either Litemovers invest in the plastic floor covering that adheres to carpets, so not to soil them, or to make sure clients know in advance to cover any carpets they hope to keep relatively clean. Overall, very good service and we will be using them again very soon! <br />"
