"I highly recommend Robert and his sons. They were extremely professional in getting my basement back to normal after severe water damage. They were timely and got the job done efficiently. Robert is great at communicating through phone/text and came back to my house to check on the progress every day for 5 straight days. "I am selling my home in Westchester NY and during the inspection process, it was discovered that there was mold in my attic. Obviously it needed to be removed at my expense. I initially called another company, one of those national franchise type remediation companies and I absolutely flipped out at their estimate and the scope of work they were proposing. A week in my house, we couldn't' sleep in our bedrooms etc. Thankfully my realtor remembered that she had worked with Frank, who is one of the owners of Eco Green Solutions, on another job. WELL the experience was amazing from beginning to end. Frank came the next day to assess the situation and provided a thorough and complete estimate by the next morning. He explained the mold remediation licensing process and all the other factors that are important in choosing a provider of this service. I called him on his cell phone with more questions, and he was patient and responsive. The office staff there was great in terms of scheduling and planning for the service date. And finally, once it came time to do the work, the 2 men who came to my house were courteous, professional and spotless. Removed 99% of the tough spots - took extra effort to remove as much as possible for the tough stains the kids has made in their rooms.  Bill was prompt in returning our call for service, thoroughly explained all options, provided a timely estimate and was on time to start the job, very courteous and thorough, cleaned up completely after the job.  We were very satisfied with the results.  Price was a little more than we hoped for and we were able to get a credit for going through Angie's List, but we got great value for the cost.

"It took longer than expected because more problems were found, but the work was done very competently and the workers were very nice to deal with. "Our experience with Big Apple Mold was excellent. Of the remediators I interviewed to remediate mold in my mother's apartment, they seemed the most knowledgeable, David, the owner that is. We had numerous roadblocks to overcome, including unusually high insurance requirements by the coop. Big Apple was always positive throughout this lengthy and often discouraging process. Annabelle their office manager made everything so smooth and was always super prompt in answering questions or requests. And patient too. When we finally got the green light, the team they sent was well trained, pro active, hard working and friendly (Kirk,Jaime and Kevin) . You just had to ask once, and they went the extra mile. Patrick the team leader was outstanding, personable and informed, taking utmost precaution around the numerous antiques. They also worked well with the air monitor that we were required to hire. The job was finished on schedule and air scrubbers were left to run for several days. When we finally got the mold test results back, mold levels had all been reduced way below the acceptable level. I am taking the time to write this review because this was a great burden on our family in our our effort to create a clean environment for our aging mother. Big Apple made it happen."
