I live in Eastern Loudoun/Broadlands and did my research to find a contractor with solid masonry experience. Angie's List was one of the resources I used for my research. Jeff's company gets very good reviews on Angie's List...but the key for me was picking a company that made me feel confident about my choice. The estimate process was straight forward...Jeff walked the site with me, I shared my vision...Jeff made recommendations, and provided a detailed overview of the work to be completed. The quote for the job was completed at the same time and was reviewed with me before leaving. I was confident that Jeff's team would be able to complete my project. After hiring Mottern Masonry and scheduling the project, a dedicated team was assigned to support my project with a Foreman. The same team supported my project from start to finish. Working with stone is an artisan trade and it shows in the work they do and the product they use. Each stone was hand placed and cut to fit at our job site. The job included pouring a concrete slab and installation of retaining walls as well as extending a downspout drain. The overall project size is close to 500 Sq Ft. I really wanted the materials to complement the existing deck...and I am very happy with the recommended choices that Jeff made. Even though I was not under a deadline for the project...Jeff's team estimated 2 weeks and stuck by that schedule. Very competent and very professional. Overall....the end to end process with Jeff's company was straightforward. The payments made for the project matched the quotes and there were no surprises. Once again, I highly recommend Mottern Masonry and would hire Jeff's company again."

"We hired Diversified Contractors to install a new patio, walkway and retaining wall at our home during the summer of 2017. The job consisted of removing an existing concrete patio and then installing a new patio and a 60-foot walkway using Westchester pavers. In addition, a 25-foot retaining wall incorporating a new PVC drainage system was installed under an existing deck. The job required a significant amount of landscaping and regrading of our backyard. Diversified Contractors completed the work on schedule and the men who performed the installation were courteous, professional and excellent craftsmen. The manager/owner came by each day to review the progress of the work. He was always accessible to address our questions. We are extremely pleased with the service and could not have asked for a better contractor to perform the work. The quality and design of the resulting patio, walkway and retaining wall have exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Diversified Contractors to anyone who is considering having masonry work done at their home."

"While the work went well initially, the end of the job (when foreman was not present) did not go well and wall had to be fixed twice - because the first repair was sloppy and created additional damage. Work was completed a little over 3 years ago and wall is again cracking. If using this provider I recommend the homeowner be present for duration of job to ensure proper attention to detail and understand if there is an problem your correspondence may not promptly be addressed."

Juilo and his crew came in and within two days, removed the burning bush, trimmed the remaining bushes, trimmed back the tree and installed a beautiful retaining wall, with river stone and perennials, and added new sod. "Isaac was a pleasure to work with. They captured my vision for my condo perfectly. I had major work done (Had two bathrooms renovated completely (remove a bathtub and extend the shower and make a closet in one of them), tear out the hard wood floors and polish the concrete, paint the kitchen cabinets and install a backsplash and put in new carpeting in the bedrooms and paint the whole place. The kitchen turned out so nice that others in my building are working with them! The best part about it is that I lived there most of the time while it was being done!"
