"He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

When we first met, we told him that we had a baby on the way and were working with a tight window to hopefully complete the project before the baby was born. We hired him and we knew that we made the correct decision because he was determined to make that deadline (and he did). Stan also worked with us on our budget and helped us cut where we needed to in order to make our dream basement come true. He handled all of the permits and talked with the borough for us so we didnâ t have to deal with that headache which made the process so much quicker and easier. That was very important to us.
