"From start to finish, my experience with Rogers Basement Waterproofing was the the kind of experience we all hope for when hiring a professional. I contacted Rogers initially to get an idea of how to start addressing external moisture issues around my home’s foundation. My plan was to start by having new downspout/sump drainage lines installed, but my goal was to find a trusted company I could have confidence in for addressing future foundation/basement issues that are inevitable in aging homes. Shortly after my initial call, Nick contacted me. At our appointment he arrived promptly and took the time to listen to all my concerns. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and easy to communicate with. He answered my millions of questions, and I never felt rushed or pressured. In fact, I felt so impressed with that consult that I signed a contract on the spot—something I never do—for installation of drainage lines. The day before the scheduled work, Nicole—the Office Manager—contacted me to confirm and answer any questions I might have. I did have a request concerning one of the lines, and she relayed that request as soon as our call ended. Within minutes, I was contacted by Nick that my request was noted. Nicole was so incredibly nice that it further confirmed that I’d chosen the right company. On the scheduled day, the 4 man crew arrived on the dot. Shortly afterward, Nick stopped by to see how the work was going and to see if I had any questions/concerns. The crew, Zach, Craig, Hunter, and Josh were the hardest workers ever and couldn’t have been more friendly and pleasant. All four, and Nick, went out of their way to put my mind at ease about the process. The crew are more than skilled workers, they are craftsmen. They did meticulous work and went above and beyond. While routing a line to avoid tearing up a garden bed, a huge rock had to be hacked out of the ground. It’s now a cool garden feature since one of the crew kindly offered to wash it off and haul it over to one of the garden beds! The terrific crew were so efficient that the work was completed in under four hours. You literally cannot see where the trench was dug. Last night, we had a gulley washer rainfall. My neighbors probably thought I had lost my mind standing in the street in the rain in the dark with a flashlight—but it was so great watching the rainwater pouring out of the new drainage pipe ? The entire experience with the folks at Rogers felt like I was working with family. Just amazing. I’m so happy to have found a trusted company to turn to if future foundation/ basement issues arise. "Ryan Phillips, the owner's son, came out to give an estimate on repairing a cracked bowing foundation as well as repairing water leaking into basement. He was honest and very knowledgeable on the problem and how to repair it. We decided to hire Phillips over many of the other companies that used high pressure sales tactics and had inferior products (drain pipe on top of footer/carbon fiber repairs). The work was done by a crew over two days and overseen by the owner, Bruce. They put up plastic over everything and cleaned up after they were done. They also installed new underground 4" downspout drain line. It's been about a year since the work was done and there hasn't been any leaks. Would highly recommend."

"I was very satisfied. They showed up when they said they would, were friendly and courteous, listened to what I wanted, took the time to explain what they found up in my trees and cleaned up after themselves. In my back yard, they knocked a wire/cable loose from my house. They let me know and reattached it to the house before they left. One of the trees they worked on has enough rot in it that they recommended that it come down in the near future so I'll be contacting them to do that in the spring. I was pleased with their work."

"Having worked with multiple remodelers and contractors on two different houses, Charlie Griffey is by far the best I've ever worked with. I have high expectations, and Charlie exceeded every one. Charlie had workers at my house every day (including some weekend days) during my project and communicated with me (unsolicited) on a daily basis. This is unheard of for a contractor. Furthermore, his subs do great work. Charlie was not satisfied until we were completely pleased. He even called later after the project was completed to make sure we were happy. He had recommendations for me that I was hesitant to pursue, but he ended up being spot on. Furthermore, we encountered a delay (in shipping--not Charlie's fault), and Charlie remedied the situation himself in order to stay on track. I cannot say enough good things about Charlie's communication, professionalism, efficiency, or attention to detail."

"Hired this man( not a licensed engineer) who calls himself an engineer to inspect my basement and crawl. He identified 6-7 cracks that had evidence of water and gave me a high estimate. He discovered a section of wall in the crawl that was disintegrating and opined on that. Charged 150 Report he turned in failed to accurately and completely address all his findings. In fact was dismissive which was a sharp contrast to what he reported while here. Went on to go behind my back and ***** the opinion of my expert. Don’t be fooled by him. He is not legally able to opine as an engineer. He is an engineer want-to-be and thinks very highly of himself."

"From the beginning, Sid, the owner of J&J Foundation Repair, seemed knowledgeable and reassuring. He convinced us, three years ago, that the crack in our foundation didn't require the extensive (and necessary, as we now know) piers that another company recommended. He proposed a less invasive solution involving beams and driveway adjustments, assuring us of a "warranty" and promising to address any future issues. Ironically, we later discovered that J&J doesn't even offer piers – the very work we actually needed. Fast forward three years, and our basement is literally falling apart. The accompanying photo clearly illustrates the current state of our basement – a direct result of Sid's inadequate repairs. Sid's team caulked over one of the initial cracks, proving that the issue was there when their crew worked on our home. We've now consulted a qualified structural engineer who confirmed what we suspected all along: the foundation needs piers. Now, we're out the $9,200 we paid J&J three years ago and still need to pay more than $20,000 to properly fix our foundation. Sid's "warranty" has proven worthless. Not only does J&J refuse to acknowledge their faulty diagnosis, but they refuse to help us make things right. Suddenly Sid cannot seem to find any of the paperwork related to our project. Sid's misdiagnosis has cost us not only thousands of dollars but also agonizing stress and disruption. Our basement is in worse condition than before he touched it. Had we gone with another company, we would have addressed the problem correctly from the start and avoided this nightmare. Please, learn from our mistake. Do not rely solely on Sid's recommendations. Consult a qualified structural engineer before making any decisions about your foundation. Choosing J&J Foundation Repair was the biggest mistake we've made regarding our home, and we desperately wish someone had warned us."

"Owner, Matt, is not trustworthy and took money out of my account against explicit direction not too. Had to file police report and eventually money returned. Work was not performed properly and had to hire another company to lower and reinstall egress window with proper header support. They did not account for joist loads above window which was massive and only installed a 3/4” thick horizontal board where 8” thick was required per expert engineer. City confirmed it was not done right. He Tried to lie about number of rim jousts to try and get out of fixing properly. Owner lies and is a bully and also tried to charge extra without letting me know in advance. I would avoid this company."
