"We did not know where the leak was coming from. So our upstairs bathroom is directly above our main floor laundry room, but we also share a wall with our neighbors so we did not know if the leak was from the bathroom or possibly from the attached roof line. Brooks was on time, courteous, professional, and ready to locate and solve the problem (he drove a very large truck that contained tons of tools). Upon a quick look, his initial thought was that it was the toilet leaking, but to be sure, he cut a small opening in the laundry room ceiling (but behind the cabinet so as to not expose too much or create too much damage in our house). Sure enough, the toilet was not properly set and was wobbly which caused the leak. Brooks reset the toilet and explained the process of shimmying to ensure a level surface. He also explained the next steps for us to take: put a fan on the wood to dry it out for a couple of weeks; spray the area with bleach; then replace the drywall once everything had a chance to completely dry. He told us to call him immediately if we noticed any more leakage. Thankfully, Brooks fixed the problem and the water is evaporating. We really liked Brooks's demeanor and polite, knowledgeable, and professional way. He is someone who you will surely realize is a plumber to be trusted! We will most definitely use Sitko Plumbing again!  <br>"

"In the initial meeting with Russ Burdeno of RAD, it was reassuring and quite a pleasure to be dealing with the obviously knowledgeable and experienced owner of the company. (A company I had contacted earlier, a much larger, nationwide outfit, had sent a relatively green salesman who offered a slick brochure, but couldn't answer my questions about what he was proposing.) Russ showed me photos of similar work his company had done previously, and he answered every question I could come up with. Russ proposed removing and replacing the failing footing and stem walls, and supporting the new footings on pipe pilings driven deep into the ground to make the footings independent of the surface soil on my hillside property that had slumped years earlier in a very wet winter. It was impressive to see how RAD temporarily supported the two-story house on shoring pipes as the original footing was removed. The original slab had been made without reinforcing steel, and an attempt to simply repair the broken and settled section 30 years ago had failed, so Russ proposed, and I wanted, to completely replace it with a new reinforced slab anchored to the new footings. RAD suggested using an independent engineering firm to make its own inspection of the house and to evaluate the proposed work. Additional engineering inspections were then made as the work was underway and when completed. After the contract was signed and work had started, RAD offered to extend the exterior walkway that was being replaced so as to provide a nice entry stoop for a side door. This was done at no additional cost. The RAD crew was a very professional and quite likeable bunch of guys. They worked efficiently and as neatly as I could have expected (demolition is messy work). They even moved a very heavy piano out of the room having the slab replaced. When the work was finished, they moved it back! I am very satisfied with the work and the result that RAD provided."

My local company wanted to charge me for individual testing of all the things Environmental was charging me a flat fee for. With my local company I was well over $600 to cover the same testing Environmental was doing for around $200. They sent me the bottles to ship my liquid in and provided me with a free shipping container to send back to them. I didn't have to pay the return postage. I think the entire transaction from placement on Angies List to a report in my hand was about a week or week and a half. I called the number they gave to have someone go over my report with me, which was great. We did have to mitigate a few issues based on the report. Overall, I am completely satisfied and will probably used them on a  yearly basis or so for our well testing. <br />"
