We then thought we'd just throw in a change of toilet and that then revealed a serious flooring problem. We ended up remodeling the small bathroom and Jeff did a great job. "Brian and his crew were great. Brian came out and gave a great estimate for everything I needed. He was very responsive via email as we worked to schedule a time for his crew to come do the work, which was mainly water tank and heating system maintenance. Brian brought Jim promptly and explained the work. They then pointed out a couple of things that they recommended replacing, one they just included in the original cost estimate and another they added on due to additional parts being purchased. Jim was very thorough and professional and, by all accounts, did great work. I’ll be using Heavy Doody for all of my future plumbing and heating needs!"

"Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."
