I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. They understand your investment and they deliver quality materials, quality work, and a strong commitment to make customers happy. I could not be happier as a customer and would highly recommend them if you are considering work for your yard! "Fernando with The Paver Boss was very responsive, efficient and kind. He and his team: power washed my house, patio and shed, cleared more leaves and sticks than I'd like to admit, replace some fence panels and hauled an entire trailer full of junk to the dump for me all in 2 days!! Along with other small things like moving some stuff around the yard. I already have more work lined up with them, like gutter and soffit replacement and some concrete work. They are local to Lusby so it's nice to have a reliable company in my neighborhood 😊"

"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. "George and his crew replaced our 26 year old asphalt driveway. It was in desperate need of replacement, and his crew was able to get it completed in a half day - and did an excellent job. Our neighbor saw his work and hired him to replace their driveway as well. We're both very happy with the work, and George was very helpful and communicated with us throughout the process. His price was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommended!"

"Wow - punctual, courteous, professional, honest, and couldn't have asked for more.  First of all, a quick comment:  Most of the "A" rated services would not accept my business because I have pellet stove inserts.  I assume this is simply because the stove has to be pulled out and disconnected.  Metropolitan Chimney Masonry Service Inc. accepted immediately, and was very prompt and professional throughout. 
   Our rep showed up exactly on time, and explained everything that was to be done.  He was very careful while moving items around to gain access to the pellet stove, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.  He was very pleasant to work with.
    Special note:  I was a bit worried, as I have never employed a chimney sweep before, and a neighbor said that she needed to have a lot of work done.  Since it's a bit like taking your car into the shop (your flux capacitor is shot), the average Joe doesn't really know what's really needed in the dark recesses of our chimneys.  I was both relieved and very impressed with his explanation that my chimney was in fact in "very good" shape, no special or significant repairs were needed, and it was not very dirty at all (pellets produce low ash, he explained).  The crown is a bit worn re the masonry, and he showed my a picture and explained what a new crown would do to prevent rain water from seeping into the bricks.  I never felt any pressure, and everything was explained thoroughly.
All in all, outstanding service from a company I trust, and I will definitely be a return customer.  Joe (the average Joe I mentioned earlier)!

"They worked very hard to level and square the retaining walls and patios. We were very impressed by the lack of cutting corners. Our original patio and retaining walls were never properly installed and they appear to have corrected this problem. For years, we also had a drainage problem on the two sides of the house. They installed a French drain on one side and a basin drain on the other. Time will tell if this completely solves the problem, but the drains were working over the last two days of rain. We were so impressed by the quality of their work that we are having them come back to do a few more landscaping items.

"Fernando evaluated a stone facade on my Colonial Beach, VA townhouse that had come loose due to poor builder construction. He matched the stone perfectly and repaired the original work to like new condition. He was responsive, timely, cost-competitive, and most importantly did grade A work. Would definitely hire for any future projects!"

"We are extremely pleased with the work of Earth Friendly Services overall.  How the space looks now really exceeds what our expectation was for the end result.  Our basement space was pretty much a mess and posed a number of remodeling challenges, including a very uneven floor surface, moving of the gas meter, support poles in weird places, multiple water valves and other items that require access.  Yet with how it looks now, you'd never know it was such a mess to begin with.  Both of the lead guys for the company, Steve and Bill, were good listeners and were patient with our questions and our issues as things came up when they were doing the work.  Both of them had good attention to detail and worked to get to what we wanted, rather than what would have been easiest for them.  For example, we asked them to use a type of drop-ceiling tile they'd not worked with before, and they got it done, with the result being a fantastic-looking, modern ceiling, rather than the industrial look most weird spaces end up using.  There was no down-time during the project, as someone (usually several people) was/were down in the basement working every day, resulting in their finishing the job exactly in the timeframe that they said they would (originally they said it would take three to three-and-a-half weeks, and they were done in three weeks and three days).  There was none of that "Hey, this is going to cost a little more than we said it would" or any of the nightmare stories you hear from other people getting their basements finished.  It cost exactly what they said it would up-front.  Further, their total cost was $8K lower than the closest bid we received for the same job!  It sounds crazy to say this, but these days it feels like an oddity when contractors do exactly what they say they are going to do for exactly what they say it's going to cost, but that is exactly what happened in our experience with Earth Friendly.  This is the company you want to go with if you are on a budget yet nonetheless expect a quality product and a professional contractor with a solid work ethic."

"WONDERFUL!  I have other contractors take one look at my deck and tell me that whoever built it did a great job.  Steve had to work with another contractor that was doing some stonework and asphalt work who had some difficulty keeping to schedule.  In spite of Steve's numerous efforts to contact the other contractor, he maintained his professional and patient demeanor and made every effort to work around any difficulties that arose.  I would most DEFINITELY recommend Powerhouse Remodeling to anyone and everyone.  Great Job Guys!
