Quotes from other contractors were outrageously high, with a bunch of complicated add-ons. DiOrio builders found a solution at a price that made sense, they fixed exactly what needed fixing. They demolished the old structures, scraped the walls and ceiling, removed decades-old debris, sealed the foundation and put a bright white coating on the wall. Plus, once they removed all the debris, the air quality is much better in the upstairs of my house! I’m so happy they made my basement useable, and I will definitely be calling DiOrio Builders and Designers when it’s time to build a lounge down there."

"No. I was told that the shower paneling would be a certain height and it was not. There is a big 12 inch gap between the paneling and the ceiling. I called the sales representative to discuss. We talked and she said she would get back to me the resolution, she never did. I paid for the old install fully $15k. I later got a call from the production manager demanding a new check for $10,000. They told me that the check I gave them was lost. I checked my bank statement and they had already cashed the check. I would never recommend this company."

Ron is a man of action and wasted no time in coming to my house to see the project that I needed done on my half bath with new laundry capability and also tiling my kitchen floor. "Tony seems polite in the beginning of the project but increasingly becomes manipulative and non-cooperative. He agrees to do everything I ask but ends up not doing it the way we agreed upon. And he took down my custom blinds in one bathroom he has been remodeling since February 2025 (has been promising me 2 bathrooms will be done 2 weeks ago) and the blinds are nowhere to be found, and he claimed, at first, there were never any blinds there. I was present when he told me he needed to remove them to do work on the casings and would re-install them later. Then he insisted he checked the cellar, his van, everywhere and they are nowhere. I told him he owes me for another set of blinds, and had to reorder the same custom wood blinds installed with all the 15 other custom blinds. I sent Tony the invoice ($300+) and he refuses to pay. He also never covered my furniture nor new floors, sawing and cutting in the dining room?very messy!! I have to clean up. He is unreliable. "
