UPDATE 7/18/2019: Wood or Fiber-Cement Siding - Install or Completely Replace We had Gvd Renovations inc replace our James Hardie, roof and garage door, and add skylights. They did excellent work, used high quality materials, and made sure to do the little extra things that make the job complete. They were flexible in working with the scheduling of some of the other work we were having done, added a few extra items for very reasonable costs, and did not nickel-and -dime us on all the other little things that were not necessarily explicit in the contract, but that need to get done as part of the job. Two other specific examples of good workmanship and pride in doing a quality job: -another contractor who we are working with on our kitchen pointed out that the flashing that GVD used for windows was a really good product - better than what most contracts typically use. -They installed an extra weather stripping kit around the new garage door that was not in explicit in the contract, but make the end result all the better. "We had initially called to get an estimate for one window, Alex came out to meet with me and my husband, we talked to him about what we wanted, Alex took a look at the one window I was looking at replacing, my husband had already said we needed to get the siding done first, Alex took a look around the outside of the house and said, getting the window replaced would not make any sense, because the siding was in really bad shape, literally falling off the house, Alex talked to us about the benefits of replacing all of the windows and the siding, lowering our heating cost, and making our home more comfortable, also increasing the value of our home if we ever decide to sell. We were given an estimate for the work needed, I was really afraid of what may come up cost wise once they started the work, as I watch HGTV faithfully and I have seen how it goes, where the cost keeps going up. Everything we were told went as planned, we were told up front that we may need gutters, Yep we needed gutters, we had already factored the cost in. We had to delay the start date due to the weather, but once the rain had stopped Russ and his crew came out and the work went seamless, they showed up on time, worked till dark, and called me to let me know when they were leaving. "We contacted Straightline Construction to replace our houseâ s skylight that had a large crack in it (previously plastic). Phil, the Project Manager, was extremely professional and measured our skylight for replacement. He provided us with multiple options, from a standard glass replacement to skylights with shades (manual or solar). We decided on the skylight with a solar shade. Straightline made the process extremely easy. We absolutely loved how it turned out. The two person installation team did a great job and even installed the remote to open and close the shade in our kitchen. While installing the skylight they also sealed exposed nails and painted and resealed flashings. I highly recommend Straightline for your roofing needs."

"Where to begin? Every phase of my project was excellent! I guess I can start at the beginning but leaving the best for last: First, Alex came by to measure the counter top area in the kitchen. High tech stuff and the quartz top fit perfectly when installed! They installed my sink, faucet, disposal, and dishwasher. Then, Vlad painted the entire inside of the house with 7 colors used throughout the house! Perfect trim work! Next, Merab and Vlad put up the oak window trim and did perfect sealing work around the wall and trim. The downstairs bathroom needed ceiling work done and Vlad more than met the challenge. Merab and Vlad cut the interior and exterior oak doors, stained them, and were put up in the new door frames. A hall fan was adjusted to the correct spacing. Special cuts of wood were made and stained throughout the house. The upstairs bathroom was done so beautifully with new mirror, toilet, shower doors and floor tile. Vlad did most of the work of this project and you would be lucky to have him working on your house project. Viktar the foreman is the one who brought all of these wonderful craft persons together to create the magic. Anastasiya is the project manager from heaven. Her attention to detail is extraordinary and was vital to the success of this project. Finally, none of this would have happened if it wasn’t for Rob Rathbun, the Senior Design Consultant of America’s Dream Home Works. It was because of him that this project happened at all. He listened carefully to what I wanted to do room by room. Then he would tell me what would and what wouldn’t work within the budget or structurally. Rob is a godsend! He is the perfect first representative to meet from this wonderful, professional, company. Top notch artists of their crafts, and the paper side of the company is right there with them. I cannot say enough about all the people at ADHW. Alex, Vlad, Merab, Viktar, Anastasiya, and of course, Rob! You won’t be disappointed!
