"In the beginning I was impressed with Mike and his ideas about our project. I trusted Mike and his abilities to work with my family. We hired Mike to complete a our basement but it s been one thing after another and us being the christians we are we supported and provided grace to Mike but we were taken advantage of and that is unfair. We dealt with missed timelines and excuses after excuses and we cannot wait 3 months for a project that was small to be completed and continued to wait. Weeks without communication and limited follow up. The subs on the job had been amazing and I hope that they received the compensation they deserved for working in our home. I m completely heartbroken over what this has done happened to my family trying to improve our home."

I could not be more pleased with finding Adam Hill of AMH Construction. His crew is personable and knowledgeable as well. The work is 80% complete and the only delay has been rain. He has been patient with my decision making and never once did I feel like I was being talked down to, or that my opinion was not listened to. Attention to detail is superb, quality workmanship is obvious and he problem solved easily. I plan to hire him again for other work if possible."

"I can't say enough good things about Justin and Affinity Construction! Our project went from a wood frame RV carport 20x45 to an enclosed garage. Justin came out several times as we worked through the build plan. Affinity was covering all the bases from foundation to paint color. Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped. This is when I decided Affinity Construction would always have my business. Justin returned my deposit, and went further introducing me to other professionals he trusts to bid on the smaller side projects we were going to do while the garage was being built. The true measure of a quality company is how they react when things turn sideways and how they treat their customers when money is no longer changing hands. 10 stars!!"

"I wanted to choose zero stars for a rating about BORDNER ROOFING OF RAYTOWN, MO. Our roof was leaking so bad we had a kidde pool in the livibg room catching rain water. I gave them a huge deposit. When it started getting too cold to roof I went to their office after they kept my huge deposit for 3 months. I told them to give me my money back & they refused. I said it will be too cold to roof it properly. They promised the shingles would lay/seal down when the sun comes out & warms them up. 3 months later in the spring the shingles didn't seal down !!! They also nailed the shingles too high !!! I met with them again a few months ago in their office & they kept saying, "We stand behind our work" THEY ARE SUCH LIARS !!! They came out a few times & put silicone or tar under some shingles that buckled up or folded back. That didn't help. 5 sections of the roof are having the same problem. This isn't acceptable !!! I had 5 companies inspect the roof & they all said it was very bad workmanship, it was too cold & the shingles were nailed too high !!! I contacted the BBB & Bordner lied to them & BBB closed the case. I have photos, documents & video to prove my case !!! They damaged my home, my gutters, my lawn, some plants, they took 21 days to do the roof...other roofers said it shouldn't have taken more than a week. ☆☆☆☆DON'T HIRE BORDNER☆☆☆☆"
