"Jason came and looked at the basement wall that concerned me.  He said that for as old as my house was, my foundation was in good shape.  Just need to scrape paint, repair, and fill crack, and repaint.  Because my driveway is right next to house, recommended having driveway fixed to slant away from foundation and then seal between wall and driveway, since i don't have water coming into basement I am not in any trouble.  He said that he can't tell me yes I need work done just to make a sale.  I appreciated that he was honest.
