"I would definitely recommend him for carpet installation"

"Sal did an excellent job on our floors! He responded promptly to my request for a bid, and gave us the lowest quote to refinish the floors in our new house, which has all hard wood floors. We were not living in the house (or in the town) at the time that Sal did the work on the floors; nonetheless all the work was completed on schedule and Sal was very accessible via phone and email. Also, the floors are beautiful! I highly recommend this contractor, and would definitely hire him again."

"The job included customer carpet preparation -- including binding on the carpet -- that was installed in stairs and a landing. The prep work - including accurate measuring and underlay and the installation went very smoothly and was expertly done."

"Great job, on time , great communication, excellent work ethic, beautiful floors?"

"Our first use of Empire was nice. They were timely, clean, and did a very nice job with our master bedroom, hall and office conversion from wall-to-wall to hard wood. Two years later we opted to use them again to remove the carpet from the remaining bedrooms from carpet to hardwood. The installers were great BUT the sales guy needs to retire. He stated that 4 bedrooms could be done in a day. With an ample size crew - ok. BUT 3 guys showed up and one left after getting the first two settled. Then later the another left leaving one guy. We were dumbfounded. They arrived at 9 a.m. and left at 11:35 p.m. We fed them lunch, we fed them rib eyes steaks for dinner. They plowed through. The sales guy called asking how it was going around 4 p.m. and I wanted to strangle him. NEVER AGAIN. Empire called to followup and when I tried to call back I got nothing so in essence they got paid and they don't care. Lesson learned - old sales guy lie."
