"I first hired Westbrook to remodel a bathroom for me in summer of 2019. It was a gut reno, the room was back to the studs. Dave's team was incredible, the work is absolutely beautiful. The team was easy to work with and cleaned up the site at the end of the day much better than previous contractors I worked with. Dave had great suggestions for how to make what I wanted to do work. When there were a few difficulties with the pieces I ordered, Dave worked with the bathroom supply company to resolve them. This year in October, we had a water leak in our front hall. I texted Dave in a panic at 6:30 in the morning and he walks me through what to do and had the plumber he works with in my house by 9am. (Don't text your contractor at 6:30, it's not nice, but Dave is an absolute hero). The remediation crew (NOT Westbrook) my insurance company sent to deal with removal of the water damaged material was not good. They knocked things down without asking questions. They damaged my marble floor and they destroyed a plaster arch that was original to my 1920s house. It's one thing to bring a contractor in to make an ugly part of your house pretty, but it's heartbreaking to bring in a crew to try to restore your destroyed home. Dave somehow managed to put everything to rights. There was fine carpentry work (a built in bench/radiator cover/storage piece that had been destroyed), plaster work (restoring the arch, fixing cracks in the plaster caused by water damage), and for the few things he didn't do, he knew someone (like a marble refinisher to restore the floors the remediation crew damaged). I also want to say that it's incredibly hard having someone work in your home during the pandemic but Gustavo was excellent. He followed COVID safety protocols completely. My hall looks even better than it did before the damage (and it had been newly done when the damage occurred). I honestly can't thank Westbrook enough for making this incredibly difficult process as painless as possible. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them unreservedly."

"Although this review is way overdue, time has not diminished how completely happy I am we went with Star22 for our main bathroom renovation & our from scratch new bathroom in our basement and relocated our washer/dryer to an area we turned into a laundry room. Let me tell you, I am a very particular person! The details matter to me and I was so nervous taking on multiple projects. From beginning to end, Bernie/Tim put me at ease & delivered! Above and beyond! Amazing customer service - we were made to feel like we were the only client & the only project they had. The PM Jalmer was great - and my rockstars - the two Henrys did HIGH QUALITY work! Everyone was hardworking, attentive & any of my questions or concerns were addressed immediately. They obtained the permits & everything was done properly & up to code (passed all inspections!) THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Oh and they kept the promised timeline - no delays or issues. INCREDIBLE! "This is the second time I've worked with Hector and his team, the first being a bathroom renovation that went extremely well. I previously had an driveway and garage floor that were all-dirt/gravel and badly needed to upgrade. Hector came up with a solution that addressed difficult drainage issues without major excavation. I'm very happy with the result and now have a smooth concrete garage floor, together with a Belgian block-edged blacktop driveway that will be much easier to use and maintain. Hector and his team are a pleasure to work with and very professional."

"Gustavo and his team were phenomenal. The scope of the project evolved a lot after starting yet Gustavo was extremely fair with the pricing and tried his best to stick to the original timeline. His ethics are unmatched and did not deviate at all from his original quote for the initial job. From the day he started, you could tell Gustavo's primary objective was to ensure 100% satisfaction when it comes to quality and value. There was a fair amount of structural work such as removing a load bearing wall and replacing it with a complicated support beam. The final result looked like the house was originally built like this. So from the structural elements all the way down to the bathroom tile grouting everything was done with expert precision. Was also amazed to see how tidy his crew kept the house and cleaned up every single day and didn't damage a thing during the 6m renovation. He even helped out with minor things around the house outside of the renovation project which he did with full care. Couldn't recommend Gustavo and his team more. Can never go wrong hiring a great person who gives 100% to deliver."

"They worked very hard and the results were beautiful. They have a lot of talent. The plaster ceiling, which is difficult to work with because it is 12' high, and the walls in that same room were in awful shape and required gallons and gallons of plaster. The tin ceiling needed special care to avoid scratching when scraping off the old paint, and the plaster crown moldings around the ceilings were also difficult because they had curvy edges. Anton and crew did a wonderful job. I would hire them again."
