"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

"US Propaint and Renovation did a great job to make our kitchen bigger, install new flooring to bring everything to one level and refinish the existing flooring to make everything blend together seamlessly. It was Jr, who was the manager of the project. He knew what to do and he coordinated teams specializing in carpentry, painting, floor installation and floor refinishing. There were no delays. "First time iI used Jason and his son (J.D carpentry out of Scituate) In this day and age if and your new to carpentry project's which i was and i picked a local carpenter for my project Well i hit a home run when i picked Jason and his son Dustin They build a roof for my ouside shower and dresssing room enclosure which was a vinyl fence enclosure and did a outstanding job It was not an easy project because of the different heights involved. I was very pleased with the job they did I would highly recommend J.D Carpentry for any carpenter projects you may have"

"I truly can't say enough about my roofing experience with Muto Construction - exceptional from start to finish! From the specs/pricing of the job, to the actual work, to interactions with the office - every point of contact was extremely professional and prompt. Owner Jasen Muto understands what the customer is trying to achieve, and has a great way of explaining technical things. He values quality and customer service, and instills that in his teams. I can't say enough about the workmen themselves. Polite, respectful, and worked their butts off. The project was finished in much less time than estimated, and looked fantastic. Clean up was great. An added feature that I really appreciated was a Project Manager came during the work and after to make sure everything was going well and I was satisfied. I already have plans for another project with Muto Construction in the near future, and have raved about them to friends/neighbors."

"Avoid! Capital?s quote was significantly more than others but they stated it was due to ?quality? of work and reputation. Lies! The project (yard drainage, pavers) took months and is still a full mess! Attached are photos- I was gaslighted stating that I was ?impossible to please? and would ?never be happy?- judge the work for yourself! Project was over $40,000 and this is what they found acceptable! If you still choose them (?) then make sure an attorney reads anything you sign as every minuscule detail must be written or they will not take any responsibility! And read financing terms very carefully as they scroll through the contract speaking but the content does NOT match what they spew! Then the threats start demanding approval for the terrible, incomplete job. You?ll be ignored and ghosted once they get their money after placing in writing the modifications that will (not) occur!"

"I thought I'd provide a 6-month update on the work performed by Coen. In short, we selected them to do some minor renovations to the bedroom and living room - ceiling repair and electrical work - and then paint the entire interior of the unit. It was horrible. We settled a reduced fee and went our separate ways. Since then, we've had to remove the work they did and repaint the entire hallway, bathroom, and kitchen due to paint peeling. Based on the prior experience and having visited during the renovation, they didn't prep a single thing - the walls definitely needed that even prior to other work starting. The new contractors very clearly were able to show how the surfaces weren't prepared at all for paint related to dust under all of the layers from the drywall and other construction work they did. Not a single apology or visit from the owners to date. Don't waste your time, money, or effort on this company whatsoever."
