"Absolutely Appalling Service and Shoddy Workmanship from GIMA - A $30,000 Mistake! Initially, we were quite pleased with the bathroom and kitchen remodel GIMA completed a couple of years ago, for which we paid $30,000. Fast forward to a few months ago, and our positive experience vanished. We discovered a leak from our shower, impacting the wall to our room. GIMA came out, diagnosed it incorrectly (claiming it was the shower handle), and even though our warranty had expired, we were willing to pay. We put down a $200 deposit for a discounted repair. That was three months ago. GIMA never returned to fix the leak. To make matters worse, the leak was NOT from the handle at all, but from missing grout in the corner of the shower tile ? a clear sign of poor initial workmanship. But the nightmare did not end there. We now have a second, severe leak from the standalone bathtub they installed, which has gone through our subfloor and completely ruined our basement ceiling! "So to summarize the project I have a basement kitchen and bathroom remodel and I installed mini splits in my 3 bedrooms. Leonardo is flexible and accommodating and the work he did was better than other contractors I have paid more money for. When doing the new shower installation he found a mold issue and quickly provided me with a solution fixing the issue and modifying the contract and doing the work to remove the mold issue for what I found to be under the market rate for the area is. After the work was done he even followed up with any issues I messaged him about very quickly. If you want good work and a good price I highly recommend him. He does everything as far as I can tell and I believe I will use this company for future projects."
