"I hired Basements Love Us for 3 different projects. I recommend them to anyone who has water problems. The 1st time was after storm Sandy flooding, to waterproof my basement. They did a great job, the crew was awesome to work with, was a really dirty job. They covered everything before beginning the work and cleaned up so well when the work was completed. I haven't had any water in my basement since. I hired them the 2nd time, to update my sump pump and replace my battery backup system. I called them the 3rd time, last fall to waterproof my basement steps. They dug the dirt out and coated the outside of the concrete steps. They really stand by their work, I was impressed with the work the guys performed. Unfortunately the earth settled over the winter, due to heavy snow and rain. I called them to let them know the situation. Within a week they were here to re-build the soil and reinforce their work around the steps."

"I contracted Mike for an estimate to replace our basement floor. Our two options were wood or concrete, and we decided to go with someone that could do concrete (let me clarify that Mike can do concrete, but due to the closeness of the houses in our neighborhood, getting concrete back to the basement is going to be challenging). His response time was the quickest out of anyone I contacted, and he was out within a few days to check out the basement. "For years I had tried to move an underground downspout as it ran over a tree root and didn't drain well. Vitucci Landscaping dug up the downspout and redirected it. They also replaced some landscaping cloth and laid down quite a bit of mulch.  If I had purchased the mulch myself, it would have cost me nearly the same as they charged me.  Did a great job and kept me informed as to their arrival. "We locked ourselves out of the garage after 8 PM last night (2/2/2016).  We do indeed have a garage door opener in each car, but both cars were locked in the garage.  There was no way to fix the lock, since it could not be accessed, so it was necessary to remove the door from its hinges.  That's not such a big job, but all of my tools were (you guessed it) in the garage. <br /> <br /> Since neither my wife nor I could get to work the next morning without cars, we put out a desperate call to Steve, who arrived on the scene within half an hour.  Took him about 5 minutes to pop the door off its hinges, and another 10 to put it back on after we'd fixed the lock.  Takes a special kind of contractor to leave his nice warm comfy home at 9 PM and drive half an hour each way for a $50 job.
