One would think that this is usually a free estimate from other companies but Green Republic is anything but like any other company and I mean this on a positive note. Alisa called days before to confirm the meeting and arrived at the date and time agreed upon. Upon seeing the unfinished front yard and what we wanted(low maintenance), she was able to give me great ideas about the layout and what plants to use. She also gave helpful tips landscapers normally don't tell you. She also sent me a detailed estimate after. If I hadn't already committed the job to another contractor, I would have gone with them. Very professional, knowledgeable, pleasant people which is why they come highly recommended!!! Lately, my contractor had trouble finding one of the plants and despite being way past the consultation, Alisa replied promptly with her sources. Now that's what I call great aftersales support! I absolutely adore the new irrigation system they installed, I no longer have to stand I'm a California native and I love real turf (grass) and was not sure I wanted to go the drought tolerant route but after seeing the finished project and how well all the plants and trees looked once completed I was in love with my yard, so much so I am going to have Nick and his team come back to complete the front yard. "Our front yard had deteriorated badly in recent years due to the drought and deer population. Our terraced yard had been held in place by ivy that was dead and the hillside was starting to erode. Brian from Picture Build met with me to discuss our options. Drought and deer tolerant plants were a must for us, as well as some way to hold the slopes in place. We had met with other landscaping companies before, but Brian made new suggestions that appealed to us (e.g. a granite rock wall where we couldn't build a retaining wall due to utilities easement, among other things). We decided to move forward. The next step was meeting with the design team from Remarkable Gardens. The ladies were very nice to work with and produced a design that we were very happy with. Brian then provided a budget and plan that fit nicely into our expectations. The Picture Build crew were all courteous and professional as the project moved into the execution phase. I'm home during the day, so I was present for most of the work and tended to ask a fair amount of questions. The crew were always willing to talk with me and never made me feel that I was being intrusive. We did have some change orders along the way - some expected, some at our request and some unexpected but not considered by us to be unreasonable. There was a point near the end of the project when we were not clear on the status of some some loose ends. I called Brian to discuss these issues and within 24 hours it all had been addressed. My impression of Brian is that a top priority was our satisfaction of the outcome of our project. Also, about a week after the project completion, the irrigation system malfunctioned. We contacted the project manager, Brandon, who sent out a crew to fix the problem (caused by the high water pressure we have). The installed pressure valves and it's worked perfectly since. We are so pleased with the final results. We get so many compliments. I wouldn't hesitate to use Picture Build again and would recommend them highly to anyone."
