"Everything went smoothly. It took about 90 minutes for them to complete the work. When they first got in, our pipes out of the wall did not look like they would connect to the new sink as easily as hoped. However, they worked on a solution, explained it to me, and we went that direction for only a slightly bit more cost. My only complaint is that I was told it would be about 2 hours at $90 an hour. Two people came with one at a $90 rate and the second at a $45 rate. Both were busy the whole time, so I know if there was only one person, it would have taken longer (though not due to the adjustment made for the pipes) and cost the same as I was charged. I just felt it wasn't represented quite right."

They were able to replace our old water heater with a new, A.O. Smith 50 gallon heater by the middle of the afternoon the same day. We are extremely pleased with the entire process- from the phone conversations all the way through the service technician who installed the new heater. "Chad and his Renovation Pro?s team were great.  We have an 18 year old house and our kitchen cabinets were white MDF board that were really beat up.  Now that our cabinets are done, it feels like we have a new house.  <br />  From start to finish, Chad was awesome to work with.  He is down-to-earth, offers various solutions/ideas and answers your questions straight up.  We had an initial one hour meeting to get a ballpark estimate of the cost and various options.  Once we decided to go with Chad, he came back out and took exact measurements and went thru all the options (ie door styles, drawers, wood type and color, etc).  <br />  Stain color was a HUGE factor for us.  Chad was very patient as we went thru various color options, and he ended up creating a custom stain for us.  He then provided large samples on the wood we chose (maple), which made it very easy to confirm It was the color we wanted (vs just having a small 2 inch sample, like you see at big box retailer). <br />  Our remodel project included re-facing the cabinet structure with brand new solid wood drawers and doors.  We also did a trash/recycle can pull-out, cookie sheet/cutting board pull-out, pot pan pull-outs, and a complete pantry cabinet upgrade with 6 adjustable wide pull-out drawers.  The extra space gained even with the same size structure is amazing.  We love the hidden hinges, soft-close drawers and solid quality workmanship.  Chad also built a brand new cabinet for above our refrigerator and blended it into the existing cabinet structure. <br />  Chad and his team completed our job as scheduled and for the exact amount that was quoted.  During the time they worked in our house, Chad and his team were extremely professional and courteous and we had complete trust with them in our house while we were at work.  At the end of each work day, they did a great job of cleaning up before they left and providing us updates.  We had a handful of punch list items that were completed within a week. <br />  Everyone who visits our house is amazed on how great our kitchen looks.  Chad and his team were focused on making sure we liked the end product and were are very pleased with the results.  Based on all of the above we would highly recommend Chad Stock and Renovation Pro?s for any kitchen remodel project. <br />"

"As part of a larger landscaping project I needed to cap both an existing outdoor faucet and a gas line leading to a yard light to make room for an outdoor patio. Access to these items was complicated by the finished ceiling in the basement. The plumber had to cut a hole in the ceiling, do the work, then install a grate to make the ceiling look decent again (which it does). In addition, the gas line used a saddle valve to tap into the black iron gas pipe in the basement. Saddle valves are no longer permitted so the length of gas pipe with the saddle valve had to be replaced. The finished ceiling made it hard to know where the valve was located and it took some detective work to finally find the right location, then another hole in the ceiling (with a grate) to make the repair. <br /> Once the lines were capped, the plumber installed a new faucet (called a sillcock) in a different location and replaced three other outdoor faucets. <br /> At one point, the plumber was waiting for fitting to be brought to him and I asked him to look at a toilet that was starting to leak around the base. He drained the toilet, and disconnected it from the floor. The floor seal was a little low so he fixed that while he waited. This was over and above what was covered by the estimate that I had been given for the other work and I wondered how much extra it would cost. He told me that he was already here and waiting on parts, and the final bill was no higher than the estimate. <br /> The plumber was on-site from about 9 am to 4 pm with a short break for lunch. I was very impressed by the plumbers diligence and the quality of his work and his willingness to do the extra task. <br />"

"I did not have them perform the work. They charge 25.00 to come and tell you how much it costs to have the work done. Then, you agree to the work. They said that they would do it that day, after I contacted them and cancelled the appointment. I wish I could get paid to tell someone how much I would charge for a service, I teach and am expected to not only teach but feed and clothe, and provide everything needed to learn for all of my students. I decided it would be a nice job to just go around and charge people 25.00 for telling them how much something costs to get fixed. That is more than I make after 25 years of service and having a doctorate."
