"I went with the solid surface shower with a glass barn door and then for the bath of my kid I had just a liner put on top. It broke some of the tiles this can happen but just one tile. It would have caused far more damage if I had completely replaced the tub. The installer went and bought me the same tile and reinstalled the one that broke, which I thought was amazing of him since tile work is not what they do. This brings me to this solid surface bathroom. Omg!!! It looks just like tile. I had never seen anything like this before! It is now so simple to clean the shower walls and floors, and I did not have to sacrifice the style of my bathroom!! I love the tile look, but I hate grout and it is not waterproof. Anyone who sees my bathroom now thinks it is tile. The barn door shower glass is gorgeous too. It all looks so modern and classy, and we get so many compliments. They worked all weekend to make sure it got done right and on time. The guys were just absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them enough!"

"Converted tub to shower, 1 day installation! Professional from start to finish, it was very smooth working with them. I appreciated how thorough and transparent they were in regards to pricing and timeline of the whole project. Not the cheapest of the contractors I got quotes from but their labor and materials came with warranty and 1 day installation was worth the cost. Plus, their quote was still a bit cheaper than other well known national brands that offer similar service. Highly recommend Renken!"

"My mother recently became mobility limited and was unable to step into her tub/shower combo. I purchased a prefab accessible shower unit, sliding doors and fixtures from a big-box store with the hopes that a family member would install it. Instead, the unit (which was delivered assembled!!!) sat in mom's driveway for a month. I finally decided to have a professional install it and I'm so glad I did! Joel called me very quickly after I requested a quote and he did a site visit the next day to see the existing setup and the new unit. He explained that the unit I'd bought would be great for new construction and that it would be a challenge to get it into the alcove of the smallish bathroom but he was confident they could make it happen. We agreed on a price that was very reasonable, considering I asked them to not only demolish and remove the old tub, surround and fixtures but to also replace the 40-year-old plumbing inside the wall. They started demo on Tuesday morning and mom had a beautiful new shower Wednesday afternoon! I am soooo pleased with the quality of the service and the workmanship; Joel and his guys were absolutely wonderful and kept me posted at critical steps along the way (I'm 250 miles away and could not be onsite due to the whole coronavirus thing). I would definitely hire Joel again and the only thing I would change would be to start with him instead of buying a unit from a big-box store and then trying to get it installed. "Our renovation with Hammer Construction affected every room of our farmhouse and was done in five months including installing an unexpected 30 ft I-beam, restoring and adding hardwood floors, removing a sunken living room, total kitchen overhaul and total master bathroom overhaul. We met Savio once during our first consult and estimate. The designs helped us nail down specifics before demo began. Humberto saw us through every step of the process with professionalism and excellent communication. He knew when to fight our battles with us and when to advise us to "let it go". There are things that came up that were unfortunate: it's a wonky 40 year old house, as it settles a wall here or there isn't totally flush. We had much more pros than cons with our experience with Hammer and always recommend them to others (and will consider them for future projects)."

"As an association board member, I was looking for a licensed and insured handyman, who would be available when we needed repairs for our 4 floor, 30-unit building. They needed to be responsible and experienced in a multitude of jobs. I also needed someone who would also be available for a unit owner if needed. I got calls asking what I needed to fix and what I wanted to pay but no one would come out to SEE what needed to be done. Roger Camacho of The Grove Handyman called me and came over to look over our building. He handed me copies of his certification and insurance then sent me a quote. He did his first job; replacing over 125 lightbulbs in the building, including the garage. He cleaned each fixture, fixed what needed fixing and replaced each bulb. Everyone noticed the difference! He was persistent in resolving a leaky window that flooded a unit. Not a drop through the rainy season. Roger communicates well and responds to calls. He is responsible, honest and a talented person when it comes to resolving problems. He redid my master bath, took out the old whirlpool tub, removed the old tile floor and replaced all the wallboard. From electrical to plumbing to retiling the tub area and the floor, I am in love with my new bathroom. I cannot express the trust and respect I have for his character and integrity. I will never hesitate to recommend Roger to anyone."
