"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

"Never had a problem. Their process is the easiest. You just call AHS with your problem, they get one of their screened providers to call you and set an appointment, the guy comes to either fix the problem on the spot (cost to you, $75 fixed), OR he comes, inspects, and gives a quote that may include things not covered by your contract (cost to you, $75 fixed). Then you either ok any additional costs and he fixes, or you ok if it's no additional costs and he fixes. If you don't like quote, call AHS and get a 2nd quote from another screened provider for no additional cost. What could be easier?"

TFB, Inc. is a new company (as of January 2002 ) with a new process. We have assembled a team of professionals in the field of residential and commercial structures with 100+ years of combined background in Indoor Air Quality, Real Estate, Insurance Adjusting, Construction and Bio-Science. We offer complete rebuilding and remodeling services with a specialty in restoring damage from mold, foundation damage, water and fire damage. \n\nFor Instance, no other company has our Rx4MOLD Dry Ice Blasting process for dealing with toxic mold and other biological contaminants. No other company can assert that they can do your remediation job 20% less than anyone else's bid. \n\nDry Ice Blasting is part of a new cryogenic process for bio-sterilization unique to our company . We provide the service; we sell licenses to carefully selected providers who can qualify for certification in the Rx4MOLD regimen. And we provide training and support to them. (See an animated demonstration of the Rx4MOLD patented system at www.Rx4MOLD.com.) \n\nTFB can promise you less time locked out of your house/building during mold/bio-toxin sterilization. Our process is less destructive. Less destruction means that our method is cheaper than any of our competitors. There is less to build back - less ALE (Aleternate Living Expense) for your insurance company OR FOR YOU! \n\nOne hundred percent of the buildings we have sterilized have passed independent engineer certification the FIRST time. That is not always the case even for the best of our competitors. It may not always be because we are better contractors - there are many excellent firms. But our PROCESS just cannot be beat for price, speed, thoroughness and reliability.. \n\nWe are able to do turnkey work in all areas of building, rebuilding and remodeling with the same skill and expertise that makes us stand out in the Indoor Air Quality business. \n\nThank you for the opportunity to meet you and serve you. \n\nMarc S. FAQs for drain clog or blockage clearing projects in Port Arthur, TX

Snaking a simple clog near a tub, toilet, or sink often takes about five minutes. Deeper blockages along the main line can stretch the job to a few hours because the pro must feed extra cable and may need a camera to confirm the pipe is clear. Either way, specialized tools help pros work quickly and keep your drains running for the long haul.

Aggressive snaking can scratch pipes, push debris deeper, or even crack older lines. That risk is low with an experienced plumber who matches the cable size to the pipe and eases the snake through bends instead of forcing it. If you’re unsure of your technique—or your pipes are already fragile—calling a licensed pro is the safest, and often cheapest, move.

Start with simple barriers: mesh screens on every tub, shower, and sink keep hair, food bits, and jewelry out of the pipes. Skip harsh chemicals; a monthly flush with hot (not boiling) water clears light buildup without damaging plastic lines. Finally, practice smart disposal—no grease, wipes, or kitty litter down the drain—and schedule routine cleanings if you have older plumbing.

Roto‑Rooter typically charges a flat $160 to $450 for standard snaking, which may include a quick sewer inspection and basic clean‑out. Exact pricing depends on the clog’s location and complexity. Repairs or part replacements fall outside that flat fee, so ask for a line‑item estimate if your tech spots broken pipe sections or recommends additional work.

Most liquid cleaners rely on caustic chemicals that eat through hair and grime—but they also erode metal and even some plastics over time. Repeated use strips protective pipe coatings and can leave you with leaks or premature failures. If hot water or a plunger doesn’t help, call a plumber for mechanical removal instead of pouring more chemicals down the line.
