"Everything went extremely well both times I hired Next Plumbing. Their master plumber Art is a great guy and has always been extremely honest and helpful. They've done several things such as replacing a water heater, replacing all toilets, replacing angel stops and faucet aerators and even hyperchlorinating our plumbing lines."

"We needed our sewer line replaced. The estimate we received from the company we had been using was astronomically high. I called a few places and Pipedex promptly returned my call. They came out the day after Christmas, when their office was still closed for the holidays. My husband is in a wheelchair, so digging up our floors was not an option. They were able to reroute the sewer line and replace all our plumbing for 1/3 the price of our old corporate plumbing company. Aleks, Serge, Junior, Dalton and Ivan are masters at what they do. They were all courteous and respectful of our home. They finished on budget and we couldn’t be more appreciative."

"I was planning to rent a shop and looked for a plumber online. He replied very quickly, which reassured me. I scheduled an appointment for him to come to the shop to inspect the pipes, including the hot water system. He was very thorough and answered many of my questions. I will definitely contact him again if I need any plumbing work in the future. Thank you!"

"I asked for an estimate on my master bathroom, removing soffit, countertops, lighting, sinks, etc. painting, drywall repair with texture finish and touchup. Then, replacing those items with supplies I had purchased. When he gave me his estimate, I realized I could also get my guest bathroom remodeled for the budget I had planned on for only the Master. He was meticulous with an eye for detail. He offered suggestions and asked our opinion every step of the way. When he was done, he cleaned everything up and removed the debris. I am extremely happy with the results and would hire this company again."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Port Charlotte, FL

A minor, easily accessible leak can be resolved in about three hours, while a large or hard-to-reach leak may take up to three days. If flooring or cabinets need to be built back, the timeline can run several weeks to cover material deliveries and installation. Every job begins with detection, proceeds to repair, and concludes with restoring your foundation’s strength.

Slab leaks are most common in areas where the ground is in motion, such as those prone to earthquakes or highly expansive soils. In places like California, constant shifting puts stress on foundations and pipes. Stay ahead of trouble by monitoring your water bill, inspecting visible slab edges, and scheduling routine inspections to catch leaks early and maintain your home's safety.

Keep an eye out for damp spots, rising water bills, the sound of running water when taps are off, or staining and sagging along the foundation. Check exposed slab edges during routine walk-arounds and note any uptick in indoor humidity or pest traffic. The moment something looks off, call a pro—fast action protects your slab and wallet.

Most policies cover slab-leak repairs tied to a covered event, such as earthquakes, severe storms, or a fallen tree. They often won’t cover gradual issues, such as root intrusion or corrosion-related pinhole leaks. Every policy is different, so be sure to contact your carrier for the fine print before any problems arise.
