"We selected the granite slabs at Marble City's supplier. There was a large selection and we selected two slabs that we liked. Marble City purchased them from the supplier (MSI in Hayward). We were reusing existing cabinets and adding a new island. Although we had dimensioned drawings for the island and its countertop and no template was needed (or made), Marble City wouldn't template the remaining cabinets until the island was on-site. This delayed the project 2 weeks as the countertops could have been fabricated in parallel with the cabinets, rather than sequentially. The install was originally promised for 10 working days after templating. It was actually 12 working days. The island countertop was the wrong size (too wide and wrong shape). It violated Marble City's design rules (15" unsupported overhang vs. 12" maximum for 3cm material). The installers shifted it 1/2" so the overhang was 14-1/2" and said it was OK. They didn't follow the drawing and didn't make a template. When this was brought to their attention, Vladimir was very responsive to remove, recut, and reinstall it. The problem was resolved promptly and is now fine. The fabrication was first rate and the only seam is barely detectable. Edges and corners as requested. All the appointments were on-time and everyone was neat, clean, and pleasant."

"Art is about half done. The 2 bathroom floors and tub surround are completed. The fireplace is currently being installed. As I have told my friends, the completed work is very good and the fireplace is going to be..."A work of Art!". It looks fabulous so far. I have had 4 tile projects over the course of the last 20 years. What sets Art apart is is his professionalism and conscientious work ethic. He shows up daily as per our agreed schedule. He works a full day each day. Performs very efficiently. Doesn't waste material. He is also very good at bringing up any issues or questions on a daily basis. He makes suggestions on how the tile installation can be improved. Many times I'm a bit anxious when I have contractors in the house working, and with Art, I am at ease since I am very confident in his expertise as the work so far has been excellent. I cannot say enough good about him."

"Their prices are high but well worth it. They will stick with any area until they get the stain out. They are very knowledgeable about their profession. They take pride in their work and are not in a rush to get out of the house. I would recommend them to others."

"Was very pleased with Artistic stone. They explained the process, what needed to be done in terms of preparation and all went as planned. They came out and measured/templated 1 day, and installed a week later. Kept my project on schedule. I will consider them again for my next project."

"<p>We selected Kenney Constructions to remodel or master bathroom. Kenney Constriction was very competitive with others that we asked bids from. The one thing that David Kenney brought that I felt other didn?t was that he and his son Allen were the ones going to be doing the job and not sub contracting any of it. Having him (the owner and the boss) on the job everyday was a plus.</p> <p>We did a lot of research to get ideas on what we wanted to do with the bathroom floor plan we had to work with. After discussing this with David he had some suggestions but left it up to us whatever we wanted. We liked most of his ideas and decided to go with it and we?re glad we did.</p> <p>We were thinking about a pony wall and he suggested taking the whole wall out. We were thinking about having the shower just gets tiled and he suggested extending it if we could afford to lose a foot from the closet next to it (glad we said yes). We wanted to keep the closet at the regular height and he suggested that we take it all the way up to the ceiling. We said yes to all and it all came together better than our vision.</p> <p> David made it easy for us. He provided us a list of recommend vendors he uses or has used in the past that provided shower doors, vanity, doors, tile, etc. It was up to us if we wanted to use them or spend a lot of time researching or going to all these different stores. We did use few of them for our tile, pocket door, tall closet door and shower door.</p> <p>It was great working with both David and Allen. They were clean, on time and very helpful. Material used was top of the line. I will use them again. They made it a point that no job is too big or too small for them. We have some small projects coming up soon that we feel it would be better suited for Kenney Constructions. We will also use them on our next big project.</p> <br />"
