"All items accomplished per discussion with service writer. The items were in response to an energy audit performed by Northeastern REMC, a free service to their customers. It took the workers a bit longer to accomplish all the work, but they didn't shortcut anything. In fact, they found an area that wasn't discussed while foaming the common wall and took care of it as well, as it just made sense to include it. I tipped each of the installers for their extra help. <br /> I could easily tell the comfort difference in every area they'd hit, both during the winter and the subsequent summer. I just hired them to fix another problem with the fireplace area that's been difficult to diagnose and look forward to them resolving the problem. <br />"

"Bert returned my phone call within 1/2 hour of calling him for a bid.  Scheduled an appointment to give me a bid and showed up when he said he would.  Was very impressed with the price.  Let me purchase my own paint so I knew I was getting a fair price.  Got me on his schedule within 2 weeks.  Showed up exactly when he said.  Was only supposed to paint the walls but the trim bothered him because it had yellowed and some nails had popped.  He offered to bring some paint he had and do the trim also.  Not only did he paint the trim but also caulked where there were nail holes or gaps between wall and trim.  Saved me a great amount of time since I had planned on painting the trim myself.  Charged me no extra for this service.   Very friendly, trust-worthy and timely.  Got the job done in less than two days and I have no complaints.  Would highly recommend him!! <br />"

"Bruce arrived to start the job on time and is quite methodical, with everything going in the right order. He has the tools to do ANYTHING and completely filled our 2 car garage with tools, materials, cabinets, etc. Since everything was replaced, he had to use skills on so many levels, including dry wall, insulation, flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite work, painting, heating, etc. I think he truly excels at molding/trim work and the cabinet installing. Perfection. An example of true attention to detail: Since they had to cut into our floor joists (beneath the bathroom) to accommodate new drain systems, Bruce took it upon himself to find a local metal fabricator to create steel U-shaped supports so that our floor remained as strong as before. Some people would have left that out.... He wanted things to be correct and often asked for our approval...making any changes we requested along the way. He is approachable. He had a great, professional introduction the first day we met and proposed a budget. Why we did not give Bruce all A's---and if there is any down side---it would be a rather severe minimizing of the total amount of time needed for the project. As a builder, he is hard to fault in that we did stick to our agreed budget and if he was working for weeks beyond the planned completion time...well, it was not costing us any more. I believe Bruce to be a very honest person and understand that any building project has delays. Toward the end, as another project became reality, I believe Bruce lost some focus here. That said, we are happy with our finished bathroom and make a positive recommendation. Your Designs LLC can be trusted. ((I am having trouble porting over pictures...sorry...if I can add them later, I will. For now, I can say I think it looks just as we planned...and this company delivered!))"

"They gave the best estimate, including 2 coats of paint even though I was not changing color. They could not do the work immediately but I didn't care. When they came, they were very thorough in sanding and scraping the doors even though that extended the time they spent on the job. Unfortunately the door stuck shut when the job was finished, but they came out the next day and solved the problem."

She put in a lot of effort up front like researching the file type that the final file needs to be saved in and file naming procedures so that the numerous files were easy to identify. She has a strong work ethic and wanted it to be excellent. She kindly offered revisions as necessary. I am totally pleased with the final product. It was such a pleasure working with her. "From start to finish I could not be happier.   I had an idea (a rough idea) of what I wanted to do.    Dan sat with me (listened with patience) and helped me work through the details of my project, he talked to me about what was important and what was not... after he helped me design the building and details that went along with it.    Along the way he worked with me to make adjustments to the design, as well as offered ideas and solutions to reduce my cost (he saved me about 15%).   There were things I didn't think about when I put my plans in place, Dan communicated with me along the way allowing me to think through the changes as well as the pros/cons of doing so.   There were changes we made along the way that make a lot of sense now that the building is complete.   Amazing work!!! <br /> To find a builder who can complete the work start to finish, stay true to his commitments, and more importantly listen to you is not easy to find.   Dan fits this mold. <br /> I have worked with at least 10 builders in the last 20 years...   this is the first review I have written.   The reason I am writing this review is Dan did an awesome job!    From start to finish communication was great, the work was awesome, and the price was right.    With 100% confidence I would recommend Dan and Patriot Builders to take on a small project to building a high end 6,000 sq foot home.   I am attaching my personal cell phone if you would like to personally talk to me - Frank (913) 461-7217  I will be more then happy to show you the work he did. <br /> Dan, thank you!   Its nice to work with folks who get stuff done! <br />"
