"We met with 3 different companies to advise on getting solar panels. The first 2 companies basically just told us what size system we could get based on state and federal tax rebate levels. Heard an advertisement for Sunpro on radio and decided to call them; turned out to be a good decision. Kara with Sunpro was extremely informative and had a nice package put together for us to review. She even researched our home and had an idea of how much production we could expect with the recommended solar panels. Even after selecting Sunpro, I called Kara with questions about things I'd heard from others or something I forgot to ask. I never felt like I was a burden and she always returned my calls if I had to leave a message. The complete team with Sunoro were professional and eager to help. Satisfied with new solar system and looking forward to enjoying savings on electric bills. <br />"

"Update: After discussing my concerns with Jack we were able to come to an amicable resolution on this job. The work contracted was completed and satisfactory. I think they provided a decent job on our roof. Original review: Completely disappointed, I truly regret having been talked into working with this company. Look elsewhere! Total high pressure salesmen. After you agree on a price and sign a contract they will come again and pressure you into more work. Here is my experience - After agreeing on a budget and signing a contract for an asphalt roof job, **Jack** and some other very aggressive guy that I'd never seen before, insisted on meeting me after the old roofing tile was stripped off our roof. Then they told me because there were 1/8 in gaps between the decking boards it would not pass inspection. Apparently there is no such requirement to pass inspection (I found out too late). Then they pressured me into signing a contract for a totally unnecessary $10,000 MORE to replace all the roofing boards (decking) with plywood. They used an unethical, pressure tactic to get me to agree to this, saying that it had to be done, or they could not continue, at this point my roof was bare and exposed, so there was added pressure from that. Now that I am reading other reviews I see that they often used the same tactic on other people to jack up the price, beyond the initial agreed upon estimate. If the problems that existed during the second shake down were actually there, should have been spotted and included in the original estimate. They weren;t and then brought up later with the false pressures to pump up the price. I feel totally suckered and can only hope that anyone doing research on roofing looks elsewhere."

"Great!  He originally installed the roof several years ago and fixed a small leak.  I believe it was out of warranty, but he still stood behind his work.  I really appreciated it, and in the future when I need roof work, I will call him.  He has done two other neighbors roof replacements that I am aware of, and both are happy. <br />"

FAQs for flat, foam, or single ply roofing installation and replacement projects in Port Sulphur, LA

Many roofing pros point to PVC as the top performer on flat roofs thanks to its tough seams and long-term waterproofing. A properly installed PVC membrane can last 30 years or more, resisting ponding water and harsh weather with ease. You will pay more up front than you would for EPDM, but the added durability often translates into fewer repairs and a lower cost per year of service.

Yes, a rubber roof is an environmentally friendly choice. Most rubber membranes contain recycled content and can reflect heat, which helps trim cooling bills in hot weather. Manufacturing has a lighter footprint than many traditional materials, and the long lifespan means fewer tear-offs headed to the landfill. If sustainability is a priority, ask your roofer about brands that carry third-party eco-certifications and confirm they meet local environmental standards.
