"Ray came over within a few hours of our call to review our problem with coaxial cable dysfunction proximal to our TV that also shut down our phone and, worse yet, internet access. Taylor, the TW technician had thoroughly and diligently evaluated the TW system functionality and concluded that the problem very likely stemmed from a dysfunctional coaxial cable somewhere behind the sheet-rocked walls and ceilings of the "finished" basement in the home we had purchased just a few months earlier. Though Ray had intended only to come to "review" the problem, he stayed with us for several hours, logically working through the problem and exploring avenues of resolution. He found an area of the drywall in the ceiling of a small closet in the basement that had previously been cut, removed and then screwed back up, and correctly deduced this might the the site of the problem. Worked hard to squinch up into the narrow closet, unscrewed the sections of drywall and explored the coaxial system, finding a faulty "splitter" which he removed and then reconnected the male and female elements of the cables. TW's Taylor responded to our call, and arrived within 20 minutes to reconnect and retest our system. All was back to full functionality. Kudos to RGS's Ray Sheltra for his expertise and dogged persistence in diagnosing and resolving this problem and to TW's Taylor (Tech # 73543) in returning within minutes of our call to bring us back into the 21st century."
