Get matched with top tankless water heater repair pros in Portola Valley, CA

"Did a $59 consult only. Turned out the cost of repairing the old heater was almost as much as a new one, so we got a new one, and handled the install ourselves. Luis B was great, knowledgeable, friendly, didn't try to upcharge just to sell a heater, which we appreciated. Gave us an honest evaluation, several options, and was right on time. I will say, though, that the company failed to call me when he was on his way... not a big deal. All in all a good experience."

"Call in the morning, visit that afternoon with quote, installation next day. They didn't have our model in stock, so we got an upgrade to the next larger water heater at no additional cost. Installer was very knowledgable and friendly."

"Highly recommended. Steve spent time with me on the phone educating me about the pros and cons of tankless and heat pump water heaters. He followed up quickly with a competitive estimate after visiting my home. He is knowledgeable about rebates that can save a lot of the cost. He is a bayren approved contractor which is required if you want to take advantage of their rebates. He installed one water heater this week and everything went very smoothly. Next week I am having him back to put in a heat pump water heater."

"You will be so pleased that you chose The Tankless Guys to look after EVERYTHING and anything to do with plumbing in your home. Gert has been my go to professional for over 10 years for ALL my plumbing needs. He operates with the highest integrity. His top priority is to do what is in the best interests of his clients. Gert and Sergio installed my new water heater two years ago. Sergio stayed for much longer than he shouldâ ve after installation was complete. He took extra care to figure out how to program the timer for my existing hot water recirculator which was not part of the water heater job. He didnâ t have to stay, but thatâ s how Gert and Sergio are. True professionals willing to lend their expertise. Some plumbing companies out there send NOT very qualified plumbers to do the minimal and/or charge you a significant amount for unnecessary work. Gert is a straight shooter. He has saved me a ton of money to replace what needed to be replaced and NOT replacing what did not need to be replaced or fixed. He will tell you whatâ s the most economical and efficient and what you need to do to protect your home from future plumbing problems. If you want cut rate prices with NOT the most qualified plumbers, donâ t call The Tankless guys. If you are looking for a team who thoughtfully looks after your whole home and considers preventative measures that you might not have considered, Youâ ll be so happy you called the Tankless Guys. Remember you get what you pay for."

"Same day leaky water heater replacement on a Saturday"

"They installed a Moen water shut off and a gas earthquake shut off. They were on time, efficient and professional."

"Guy who came gave me good advice and advised that he felt my issue was not needed for repair. He didn't try to sale me any service as he saw no need. I appreciate a plumber who isn't trying to get work out of people whom don't need it."

"Install of water heater uneventful, wonderful job. Quick response and whole job from first call to inspection very quick too-1 week-install of water heater the next day! All around very knowledgeable, seemed like he was mentoring someone and was doing a great job of that too :). Btw, finished product looked like a job on â this old house,â in all its shiny copper glory lol"

"Jesus repaired the leaking water pipes behind the shower valve. It was Sunday, but his response was quick and he showed up on time. I think he is the best honest plumber I ever met. He did a great job with reasonable price."

"In and out plumbing is great!  Easy to make an appointment... called at 9pm and scheduled service for the following day.  Plumber Mike was on-time and polite.  After showing him our leaky shower faucet, he provided two quotes- one to replace parts, the second to upgrade the plumbing to today's standards (1955 house).  After a few minutes we opted for the former.  Unfortunately there was a bolt that seemed to be glued in and so the handle stems had to be cutt off (also explains why my husband couldn't unsrew it the evening before).  The replacement were of an old design therefore Mike warned us that it may be difficult to find at a store.  He spend 45 minutes looking for it that day and upon not finding it at open stores, returned at 9am sharp the following morning to pick up the broken part (which he had replaced the night before so that the water could be turned back on for us) and spent about 60 minutes away while at another store.  Luckily he was able to find the part and had the faucet fixed by 11am.  During the entire work Mike was kind, communicative and obviously working hard to successfully complete the job.

Additionally, another plumber, Steve from In and Out Plumbing provided service just a few days prior for another problem... a corroded pipe with a hole was leaking water from our kitchen drain.  Steve was also very polite, communicative about our options for the repair, and was able to replace 2 feet of piping in about 30 minutes.

In and Out Plumbing has been great on two occasions!  We will definitely use them again if we have any more plumbing issues."
