"If I could give I'll Handle It ten stars, I would! I hired Dave, the owner, to tear down my old fence and build me a new one. The proposal price was right in line with what I was expecting and I chose I'll Handle It over the others that I interviewed because of how Dave really listened to what I wanted and although offered suggestions didn't try to push me otherwise. Dave's expertise really became apparent when a snag appeared in the installation because of how the old fence had been installed over a concrete block retaining wall. A masonry person needed to be called in to fix the problem and Dave was able to get him to come over to look at it that same day and the extra cost was right in line with what I was expecting. The masonry repair was completed the next day and Dave finished up constructing my new fence the day after that. This masonry problem really created a problem for Dave because he is very busy and had to move some other work around that he had scheduled for other people. But through it all, he was friendly and solution oriented, and very concerned that my fence was built the way I wanted it. The new fence is fantastic!! I highly recommend Dave and I'll Handle It. "We utilized C&H for several handyman projects in a recently purchased condo, as well as a full cleaning in advance of move in. The handyman project including replacing the door moulding, and putting new thresholds and weather stripping on the doors. Well done! The cleaning was done well, with particularly work well done in the kitchen area, to include dishwasher, oven, stove top, and all cupboards and sink. The owner of the company, Al, is a highly customer centric individual, whom only wants the customer to be well served and completely satisfied in the project results. He met me in advance of the projects and totally understood the work to be done. He was early for the four times we met, his crew was on time, he gets his hands dirty, he is a problem solver, and he is there for the end of the job for final inspection. "I called and left a message. I did not receive a response so after a week I called again and John answered. He recognized my name/request and said he was sick the previous week which was why he didn't return my call. He came to our home and I showed him the work to be done. He said we couldn't replace the sink without ruining the granite countertop so that project was scrapped. For the electrical and ceiling fan work, he said he was busy for the next two weeks and recommended we use Kevin at Shea Electric who he would pass our number on to. (I kind of got the impression he didn't want to do the work.) Kevin made an appointment to come out but after calling once to say he would be late, never showed up or called back (that was 4 days ago). I will enter the Shea Electric review under that company."

"The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.
He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride.

"From the first day of work, Mr. Sadock and his employees were courteous, polite, and professional at all times. They worked well as a team, were pleasant, reliable, efficient, and hard working. Each day, focus areas were prepared for work. Our furniture was treated with care, and the walls and floors protected. "Pete was very good fixing the problem. The pull chain broke off inside the unit. I took it apart and tried to fix it myself, but was not able to get to the unit with the chain....so much for being a home mechanic! Pete made one short stop here to get the unit apart. He didn't have a replacement part with him, and to save time I went to Fan Diego store for the replacement, and he installed it on another visit a few days later. Problem solved. He is very friendly and worked well. I am having him back soon to repair another ceiling fan that has quit working.
