"USA Floor-Tec did an absolutley amazing job on our driveway repair and stamped concrete deck repair. They went above and beyond to make the color and pattern match the existing stamped concrete. They also meticulously repaired and resurfaced our damaged driveway. All of the guys working on the project were very respectful and professional. Taylor who was overseeing the job was wonderful to work with. He communicated with us consistanly and clearly on the progress of the job and what we could expect. Taylor took extra time and effort to make sure that everything about the job was quality work, he also insured that all construction debris was cleaned up on a daily basis. "The deck building went well I think. It took 2 days for Blake and his work partner to complete the deck. They worked pretty fast; came in the morning and worked until about 4:30 or so. I liked the building materials that they used; seem to be very good quality. I did misunderstand however, how the steps would be finished, as Blake said he had quoted me a basic deck model which would not include a board on the front of each step, but the steps would rather remain open. I said that I had not understood that he was only quoting me a basic model, and I did want the steps to look more finished. So Blake got right on it and said that he would add boards to the front of each step, and he was not going to charge me for the labor; only the materials. I insisted on paying him something for the labor however, since he completed the steps the way that I wanted them later that same day. The end result is that I am very happy with my deck. Blake worked very hard to earn my business and was willing to match a little lower quote that I had received from another company. He actually called me a number of times before I decided to go with Maxey Construction, in an effort to earn my business. I would definitely use his company again for some future projects that I have inside of my home."

"This spring in Dallas was **** for rain and wind, and I was starting to lose some ties on my roof. I called Jess, because his business has been a long-term supporter of the Dallas Harlequins, and he got me set up with my insurance, and the process was on with this request: "As soon as the weather allows, gitter done" (because for weeks, you couldn't). And that he did. He started work on Friday, June 7, got nearly all of it done in one day, but was cut off by my neighbor at 7PM, because "it's 7PM" and she was adamant. I'm tremendously grateful that Jess came and finished the job Saturday morning, because we all know what the storm-pocalypse was like on Sunday, June 9. I suspect there are still neighborhoods that are recovering. I can't imagine the damage that might have been done to an unfinished roof. So thanks, Jess for getting after this and following through to gitter done! (Plus, with the radiant barrier, my electrical bill is down, and the new tiles are so much more massively durable, I can be confident in another very long run before roofing maintenance.)"

"We hired Bobby at Summer Time Pools to remodel our pool in March. March 3rd to be exact. He was very friendly and attentive until he got the last check! In the beginning he was very nice and our job progressed. We paid an additional 500$ to have our lions heads replaced with brass ones. They attached them with white plaster! One sprays crooked! He did not repair and replace the spa lights as was promised. They broke a pipe in the front yard. I have called on several occasions and my husband has called also. He promises to send someone to work on the light in the spa that is YELLOW because he did not replace it as agreed upon. We encouraged our neighbors to use him (before he left with us an unfinished job!). They were next door working for many weeks and still no completion of our job. Bobby said Oh, I will do something nice for you for getting us that job. We want NOTHING from them except what we paid for! All I want is my pool FINISHED because he took our money! He was prompt about getting that!!! He knows he has done a very nice family wrong. He admits it and he says he will send someone to finish the job. BUT, They never come! We are patient to a fault, but this is beyond compare. I just cannot deal with companies and people who lie to me. I own my business and I have never seen anything like this. I would never do business with Summertime Pools or Bobby again. I have tried tirelessly to get them to finish our job but it is to no avail. He keeps taking more jobs without finishing jobs who have already given him their money! Cash flow issues??? We are disappointed beyond words. We are angry that we used them because of the hassles they have caused in our life. My mother passed away during this time. He compounded our heartache with his empty promises. Juan the owner....told me pool are his passion. Job completion should be your passion, Juan. I suggest you NOT give Bobby that last check until EVERY detail is completed because you won't see them again. I cannot tell you the number of times we have called Bobby. He told my husband last week to call him back on Monday and remind him again!! Seriously, he wants us to call him again to remind them they did not complete our job! What kind of business does that! I cannot recommend Summertime Pools because Bobby has failed to complete our job! He does not follow through with his promises or his work. We are beyond frustrated, angry and so disappointed in Summertime Pools and Bobby. He really let us down! We have given Bobby ample opportunity to right this wrong but they have failed to do so! UPDATE: they did come back to rectify the situation, 6 weeks after dropping off the replacement lions heads."
