"He was on time and quickly repaired the siding."

"They were on time, efficient, pleasant and responsible. They made a mistake and fixed it, then pointed out where the wood was rotting and were able to repair it immediately. I was so pleased I asked them to paint the soffits, etc. and I plan to use them again in the spring to repair some other items. I also referred them to several friends. I especially appreciated that the price was reasonable and there was no hard sell. The inspection of the work after it was finished was also very good. Thank you to Jamie, Edgar and Louis & crew."

"We hired Mr. Scantling and his crew to redo the drywall on a floor to ceiling fireplace and rebuild a half wall previously done by an incompetent contractor and to repair/replace bulging splayed corner seams throughout the house. I was very nervous because we'd had such a bad experience with the previous contractor but Mr. Scantling and his men did excellent work and were very efficient. They finished the whole job in just under two days while being considerate of our schedules (my husband works from home). They didn't mind answering all my questions and were a very congenial crew. But the best part (for me) was that they truly did clean up after the job. This was one of the cleanest home repair/remodeling jobs we've had done in quite a while. I am happy to recommend this company and would use them again."

"Excellent job.  Work was delayed for a while by weather, but contractor stayed in touch and performed all services beautifully.  Would definitely use him again.

"I could only afford the front gutter because I was having problems. The owner called me and I guess there was a misunderstanding between myself and the gentleman who gave me the initial estimate. He was under the impression that they did not do gutters. It turned out that they did do gutters and the owner made them come back out and do the job for free due to the misunderstanding. The owner's name was Keith and he made sure they did more than I originally asked for. They were very nice and I was really shocked that they would do something like that for me because I really needed it done. They repaired my soffits for me and they even re-attached the aluminum siding as well. They were very punctual, neat and nice."

"I was honestly surprised with how quickly Jon (the owner of Virginia Pride Contracting) contacted me to offer his services. He had already reviewed my property details prior to calling and offered to come out the next day. He did a fantastic job and even sent me some photos of some issues on my roof I was not previously aware of. Jon will be the first person I contact for any roofing, gutter, or siding needs in the future."

"Great company to deal with. Got deal on Angie's list and called them next day. They came to the house an hour later and did a great job on cleaning the gutters. Very nice people to work with. Highly recommend."

"This was our second time using J & M. Great group of folks. The roof and siding look great. We gave a B because there were a few hiccups this go around. Not enough material was ordered to complete the shed. The crew left nails everywhere and we have 4 small dogs which was frustrating. It took longer than expected to have siding done. However, Melissa was very polite and did her best to accommodate us. We would definitely use them again for our future siding or roofing needs despite the length of time that it took this time."

"HCR did a great job with replacing our roof. The materials are high quality and the work (removing original roof, laying down new roof and cleaning up) was done efficiently and with great detail. HCR also offers an excellent warranty and was very thorough in explaining options and setting up the work. We would highly recommend!"
