 Getting a quote for the job was very straight-forward with JM Plumbing & Mechanical.  I sent a message to JM Plumbing and Mechanical through Angie's List message feature.  I described the 3 problems and received a prompt response with a quote of $350.  Jerry and TJ arrived ahead of the scheduled time, and got right down to business.  They let me know the sequence they would be working on the issues and immediately shut off the water and got to work.  After the work started, I mentioned another problem with the water running in the toilet and Jerry said he would look at that as well.  They were prepared with the parts they needed for the initial repair requests, but needed additional parts for the toilet repair so went to Home Depot to get those and then returned and completed the shower handle, toilet repair, and outside faucet repair very quickly.  Then TJ got under the house, found the leaky pipe and caulked that.  That job alone was a big relief to get taken care of.  Considering the crawlspace under this house, I had no idea how much something like this would cost to have fixed, but it was completed by TJ like it was no big deal.  Before leaving, two more issues came up unrelated to my original request.  Jerry was very sincere in offering to check those out as well and did so in a matter of minutes.  I could not be more satisfied with the value I received for $350 and would definitely use this company again.

The response was quick and the owner himself came out, I had thought that my efforts would have been sufficent to dry things out, until Rafeal the owner showed me the water still in the walls using a thermal camera, Being a father of two young children the last thing i wanted was a unhealthy enviroment for my children with the potential of mold growth in the walls. Rafeal told me not to worry and quit stressing my self out trying to do everything myself and juggle my job and family at the same time. He reminded me that these instances are why home owners have insurance. So a PROFESSIONAL took over and quickly went to work with a very knowlegable and friendly crew. If aanother disaster happens again believe me the first thing I would do is call a professional and that would be SAN DIEGO WATER DAMAGE"

"They worked out okay and the quality of work was very good. They were very friendly but the response time was slow and they're not the most professional one because they called out my cousin's son to come over and to do the work. The one that was really odd to me was when I called them for an appointment; there was something that I wasn't able to provide the material and business for wood rot repair. If I had the material to do the work, I don't have a clue on what you need to do this repair or I have no idea where I was supposed to have on hand and so why would you expect a customer to have all the patio and the wood and whatever you need to do for the work so that's why I called you because I need you to do the work."

"Father son team great people. They were prompt and professional. The rates are very reasonable ,$200 for First 2 hours plus parts. I ALSO used them a year ago for a leaking pipe under house. Both times were done under 2 hours. THEY DID A GREAT JOB. They won’t rip you off like a lot of other company’s."

"I want cut out and replace up to 1 feet of copper pipe. 5 minus and I lost more than $500. On Yelp, I can hire have many contractor from $200 to $300 but my friend tell me try on angieslist. I can not give quality after 1 week but the price is so expensive."
