"Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. "My job entailed removing a large section of concrete driveway in front of my garage and replacing it. The job was started on approximately the schedule upon which we agreed. However, once the old driveway had been removed, two weeks passed before the new one was poured, with the accompanying mess. Concrete was splashed on masonry (with no attempt to remove it) and the final work was not finished until 4 months later. In the meanwhile, a 30 foot crack developed in the new section of driveway. I am not sure the agreed-upon expansion joints were installed and I fear that the new section will be in the same condition the old one was in a few years. These factors could be overlooked if it were a cheap job, but this company charged top prices (perhaps even higher than normal) and I expected a first-class job."
