"Crew did a great job. The floor is beautiful and matches the old hardwood perfectly. Will hire again or recommend to others."

"D&S Flooring was recommended by a friend - and I am so glad to have had them do the flooring in my basement. Masood the owner returned my request or information very quickly, and scheduled a time with me to measure the floor. I already knew the LVP the I wanted, and he brought the sample to help me choose a coordinating carpet. He provided a fair price for the flooring and labor. Two different teams did the work - one team did the LVP flooring and one team did the carpeting. My basement looks brighter, and bigger, and I am very pleased with the entire process from order to completion. D&S Flooring definitely deserve a 5 star review for all they did on my basement. Thank you."

"The floors look great, no problem there. Sanding dust was well-contained and cleaned up. However the scheduling (and communication about it) was a problem. The work was finally begun after three delays, totaling nine days, after initially-promised start date. With two of those delays, Larry did not initiate contact; I called him to check when he would arrive. He said delays were caused by family issues and no-show workers. His floor work is great, but time management and communication need to be better."

"AD Floors installed my living room hardwood floor after removing my old carpet. My living room looks lovely! They even help me moving my furniture. Great price and service!"

"Mostly very good.
One exception was a porch that had mahogany.
They messed up the finish and had a hard time fixing it.
Other than that, pretty good.
I don't know if I would use them again or not.

"Let me start by saying I am a DIYer and was going back-and-forth in my head on whether I was going to do this job myself. However, I know that sanding hardwood floors is a scale and if you mess it up you have to live with that mistake. I researched local Fredericksburg hardwood floor resurfacing companies and found capital flooring. Nelson responded to my request within 30 minutes and came out that same day to give me a price quote. I was surprised at the cost of the total job. I was even a little skeptical at first. I’ve talk to locals who’ve stated there are some real scams out there. THIS IS NOT A SCAM! We scheduled a date and his crew showed up on time the morning of. It’s incredible how fast they work and how exceptionally well the floors look. They are very professional and proficient. They put plastic up all around the areas that accessed other rooms to keep the dust down. They even forewarned me every time they were turning the machine on because it’s loud. I’m so glad I hired capital flooring and I am exceptionally pleased with the product. They sanded off the top layer of my hardwood floors, mixed a stain that matched my new vinyl floors, and applied two coats of oil based polyurethane for the finish. They also installed, and stained flush registers for my exposed ducts and stained new transition pieces to go from hardwood to vinyl flooring. I have already recommended capital flooring to multiple friends and will continue to do so!"

Wayne Settle came out as scheduled, looked at the space, measured it, had us choose the flooring, and then gave us a price. He brought the materials out to sit for a week before installation inside the house to avoid expansion or shrinking because of the temperature or humidly change after delivery. He scheduled the installation on the first mutually agreeable day after the week, a Thursday.

In deference to our preference for not getting up extremely early (we are retired) he set the arrival time for 9 a.m., and he and two other workmen (one a workman, one a workwoman) arrived about 10 minutes early. They set to work immediately and efficiently, moving the last heavy pieces of furniture to one side of the room and then the other as they worked, as agreed. They had the bedroom finished and ready to sleep in by the time they left that afternoon, and returned at 9 the next morning to do the hall. The job is beautiful, with every corner perfectly finished, and Wayne without a reminder deducted the cost of flooring the closets, a change we had not requested until after the flooring was ordered.

All three were very friendly and pleasant, as quiet as people using power tools can be, and willing to put up with a large and noisy dog. We felt the cost was very reasonable for more than 10 hours of work by three people, and they could not have been more responsive. Wayne cheerfully concluded the job by fixing a badly-hung door that hadn't worked well in more than 20 years. We were more than happy that we had found such good people through Angie's List!

They have an amazing customer service, an work ethic, and leave you with a stunning product at a very fair price! I will not allow anyone else to handle my floors. "Juan and Flavio provided excellent service and were extremely responsive. The install team led by Flavio were punctual, professional, and skilled. The new floors look great! They also buffed and resealed an existing hardwood floor. I am extremely pleased with the results. Their prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend them!"

"Alexander was referred to me by one of my friends in the Army. The military moved my family across the country to Chevy Chase, MD. We bought a house site unseen, and showed up to discover the home was a total disaster. My wife was in tears. The hardwood floors were so bad that I thought they would need to be replaced. After consulting with Alexander, he assured me that they could be brought back to life. He also encouraged me to shop around. After doing a little research, I quickly realized that Alexander and his team were the most knowledgeable and affordable. Alexander made it a point to match any competing bids to keep me as a customer. Through the whole process it was evident that Cupboards Kitchen & Bath Discounters was passionate about their work. Alexander was always available to answer any questions that I had, and rolled over backwards to make sure I was completely satisfied. After the floors were completed, I noticed that one of the stairs was damaged from the previous owner’s dog. Alexander offered to come fix it for me free of charge. The floors turned out amazing! I could not believe the transformation. They now look brand new. My wife and I felt like we made a new friend with Alexander during our floor rehab. I would recommend him to anyone. Next up…. Kitchen remodel with Cupboards Kitchen & Bath Discounters!  #customerserviceisnotdead!"
