"Determined that it was not the pump but possibly the control board. This will help us in determining if it is cost-effective to repair the dishwasher or buy a new one."

"Our Refrigerator decided to quit working overnight and we were welcomed with quite a mess. After cleaning up things and rearranging, we were tasked next with finding someone that could trouble shoot or diagnose the issues. I called one place and they couldnâ t come out for 3 days or more (that doesnâ t help). I left a message with Appliance Equation just after 9am and they called me back within an hour and I explained the situation. They said they could have someone here between Noon & 2pm to check it out. Mustafa was here BY Noon. He got to work immediately and thought it might be the Inverter. He replaced the Inverter and that did not fix the problem. He tried a second Inverter to ensure it wasnâ t a faulty replacement and that one also failed to correct the issue. It was then determined that it was probably the Compressor and the Inverter that needed to replaced in the 15+ year old Fridge. The cost to replace both would be in excess of $1,500.00. He indicated that there appeared to be other parts that were wearing out as well and replacing the fridge with a new one was probably a better option. He had spent nearly 2 hours working this patient and it simply was not worth saving. The total cost of the trip and diagnostic review and attempted repair was $0.00. Unbelievable!! For a new customer, they only charge if they actually repair the unit (parts & labor). Mustafa was very knowledgeable, honest and patient with us. We replaced the unit with another GE Refrigerator for just over $2,200.00. Hopefully this one will last 15+ years as well. I would recommend Appliance Equation for your appliance repair needs."

"Victor and I set up an appointment for today. He was on time, early actually, took a look at my old washing machine, all the while explaining what he was doing, then diagnosed the problem. He didn?t carry the part (who carries around parts for an old Kenmore with them?) so he ran out to grab it. He was back quickly, got it installed, put the machine back together and ran a wash cycle. Painless and just what I needed today. Somebody who shows up when they say they will and takes care of the job right the first time. I?ll use Victor again if needed and recommend him to my friends and neighbors."

"Needed ice maker repaired. It's not making or dropping ice. Needed Electric Dryer drum to stop continues turning when not in use. Ice maker: Not repaired. Instead: He replaced the thermostat, and door handles were semi-fixed, tightened. Electric Dryer: Face plate (settings) was pushed in. He popped that out. He also cleaned out the wall vent from decades of trapped lint. However, the dryer drum keeps turning after the timer goes off. When it's turning, it's not getting hot. Only way to stop it from turning and make it stop, is leaving the Dryer door open. If not, the drum continues to turn, for days if we leave the door closed. There's also when we're drying clothes, it doesn't heat up so the clothes stay wet for hours leaving us to have to rewash clothes and hang up to dry. The initial call for the repairs were not repaired. Ice maker doesn't make ice Dryer drum continues to spin I reached out to him two days later after the repairs he made, letting him know that the reason for the initial call to repair the ice maker and Dryer, were still not working. I received no response from him. It's been over a week now. He has not responded. Sabino started his job with us, with excellent customer service. I called about the repair and he came out the same day (even after being in a rollover car accident with his young son). He did the minor repair. He ordered 'special' parts for the refrigerator. A week later. He fixed what he thought needed fixing. Except for the real reason I requested his Experienced Appliance Repair Services. The ice maker and the Dryer. Paid: $300 cash. $325 on our debit card. We still have broken Appliances. I had to take my business elsewhere, and spend more money on the same Appliances. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I wish him well."

"The leak was fixed, my understanding of the leak was the freezer was always or mostly in the defrost mode which appeared to be a leak. The (Maytag bottom freezer) freezer pan would catch the leaking water and than freeze into a big sheet of ice which had to chipped every three days or the door would not close tightly. Long story short it ended up being a sensor. The old ice maker was replaced with a new ice maker and now make lots of ice. I have had this Maytag bottom freezer frig for 7 years. The freezer never did get real cold and the ice maker never made a lot of ice. I think the sensor that was replaced never did work right. Since the sensor has been replaced the freezer gets real cold which helps the ice maker make the ice. When the repairman called me, I explained the problem and he knew right away what it was. Great job! I paid almost $1200 for the frig so the repair price of $500 was fair and if the frig last for 13 years without a problem the labor price will look even better. My last frig I had worked for 20 years that's why I'm hoping for another 13 yrs."
