They took two layers of tar & gravel roof off my house and installed a high tech membrane and insulation. They had to drop the old roof down to the ground then hump it up the stairs into the dumpster. They came with 9 guys, Antonio was the crew chief. The nicest guys. And when they left, my property looked clean, without a single shrub or flower out of place. And the new roof is beautiful. Bill (the father) was here to supervise and really added to our confidence and satisfaction. I don't write a lot of reviews, but these guys deserve the shout out."

"This was a large job which required removal of the old roof - multiple layers of asphalt shingle and cedar shake down to rafters. The house is a large old Victorian with multiple angles and outcroppings, and very steep. There was also a one car garage. As promised, Royal arrived on day 1 - a Monday in 12 degree weather - with 3 dump trucks, several other trucks with men and equipment and over 30 workers. They swarmed over the house and by 10 AM the roof was stripped to the rafters and by the end of the day new plywood, underlayment and shingles had been installed on more than 3/4 of the roof. All work was completed in 4 days. Every night the property was thoroughly cleaned up. Progress was provided during the entire job by sending photos taken with a drone - terrific! Overall we were impressed and pleased with the work and the fact that it truly took 4 days. We had seen other jobs in the neighborhood take 3 weeks or more to complete. You pay for this kind of service - it is not cheap - but it is totally worth it. In addition, all of the workers and the project managers are very professional and attentive to your needs. "Bob Laurendi and his Vandelay Roofing team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They were very responsive to my inquiry regarding my roofing needs, coming over and inspecting the existing roof within three (3) days of my first telephone call.  At that time, Bob explained the various options I should consider in installing a new (flat) roofing system, including cost variances and environmental considerations.  When I made my decision regarding the system I wanted, Bob told me he would have a formal quote to me within the week.
Less than a week later, Bob sent over his proposal and simple contract; I made one or two revisions to the specifications, which he readily accepted, and we scheduled the work for two or three weeks later.  Right on time, he and his crew called and advised me of their intent to start work the following day.  They worked over two (2) days, removing the old roofing system, repairing the wood sheathing where necessary, and installing the new TPO roofing system I had decided upon.  They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly, photographing every aspect of their work for my review.
