"I am happy with the completed project. I needed ceiling repaired from water leak, painting of the walls, ceiling, trims and doors of entire first floor, including stairwell with high ceiling. Jaime and his team were great to work with. I found them on Angie’s List, and picked them because they got excellent reviews, and well deserving based on our experience. They did an excellent job in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, punctual and were very reliable! Definitely would hire for another job. The house look great!"

"Painters arrived exactly on time and accomplished all tasks the same day. The manually stripped the deck and applied two coats of stain. They carefully cleaned and then painted the foundation concrete as it had got dirty over the years. They also scraped, caulked and painted a large bump-out window off our living room.

"Reynaldo did an excellent job. My house looks great! He's also done interior wallboard repair and painting which not only looks great but was done neatly and efficiently. His prices are very reasonable too! Highly recommended!"

"Very nice and professional to work with. Communicated in a timely manner, brought issues to my attention and was open to negotiating work prices. Really did a nice job listening to what I wanted. Paint colors did not come out right the first time so Stan worked closely to make sure it was right. Will use him again when the time comes.

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Queenstown, MD

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
