While he was here to quote running the gas line , I asked about how to shut off the water to the house. Single mom here and thought I should know that. He tracked down the shut off and showed me how to access it if needed. I then asked about getting a quote on sump pump and a garbage disposal. He looked at the disposal said he thought it was just stuck. Got a tool from his truck and fixed it in less than five minutes at no charge! He could have easily sold me a new one. "We have been using Justin Dorsey as a company for our needs for over a year. We have had many concerns and called them for more than 4 separate issues this year. We first needed their services when we had been in our new home for 2 weeks and our water heater quit working. It was late on a Friday and the tech ran into some difficulties with how the plumbing was run by the previous owner. He worked hard and until almost midnight to resolve all the concerns and leave us with hot water. We have since used them for small concerns with a toilet and sink, a water leak from valve on a pipe, and replacement of our well pump switch. This past week we once again needed their services. We have always had a prompt same day response to our needs. Our water softener was not functioning and leaking. Michael was the tech who responded and fixed this problem. As he assessed our overall needs in our home, we discussed our drinking water. He was able to install a reverse osmosis drinking water system the same day. Again due to previous plumbing concerns from our home's previous owner, he had some obstacles to overcome. Of no fault of his, he had to return to our home 3 times in 2 weeks to get the system to work properly. He was professional and worked with us to fix the problems. We have always been very pleased with their work and how they go above and beyond to not only please the customer, but do the best job possible. We will continue to use this company and recommend them to those we know in Hendricks County. <br />"

"There are not enough stars to rate Hudson Plumbing. Every time a plumber is called by a customer, it is viewed by the customer as an emergency. That, is also the view of Hudson Plumbing. Our issue was a 99% clog from the house to the sewer, backing up into our basement...on Easter Sunday. I called, they answered! AND they came out to try and open the line. Luck was not on my side this time. It couldn't be cleared and would need to be dug up and replaced. Chad, who also ran the work crew, took some photos and said he would have someone call the next morning to discuss the project. I got that call the next morning, discussed the project and got the ball rolling. They were able to move other projects around to start and finish my project the next day. Chad was back out with his crew the next morning. Chad ran his crew like a well oiled machine, completing the entire project in 3 hours! They worked with a sense of urgency without rushing. They ensured that each step in the process was done correctly before moving on the the next. Chad answered every question I had, explaining what was happening, how it was going to happen and WHY it needed to be done. This man knows his craft! Hudson Plumbing viewed my emergency as their emergency and made my house whole. Throughout the entire experience I was treated as family and not just a customer. Knowledge - 5 stars. "Don't dig up your city sewer! Nu Flow will come in, line your existing one at a competitive price, and you don't have to tear up your yard, patio, sidewalk, driveway, life, etc!! Thanks Nu Flow for not ruining my property like traditional digging. Great experience. I would say I plan on using them again, but not really, as I don't plan on having sewer issues any more. They provided me with a quote on a Wednesday, I paid Friday, they completed the job the following Tuesday. Could not be happier."

"It was great at first! But you don't understand how good work is until it's been done for about a year. There are a couple things that I really drive me nuts about the work performed: <br /> - the drywall isn't even so the baseboards and crown modeling has gaps that we have to keep caulking <br /> - there are strings that are coming off the carpet <br /> - you can see a gap in the padding under the carpet <br /> - the cords in the back of the TV are coming from a drilled hole, they didn't put a plate over it (didn't notice this until long after work was done) <br /> - the light switch plates aren't flat on the wall <br /> - the door knob of the door they installed is already coming off (cheap!) <br /> - there are waves in the ceiling where the drywall didn't match up straight <br /> A couple of these things we had them come back out and look at but after it's complete, there is little that can be done. Because there is a flood, insurance paid for portion but we chose to upgrade a lot since our basement was old in the first place. Since we weren't a high paying job, clearly we were back burner. I wish I would have paid more attention at the time the work was done but I didn't. Lesson learned and we would use someone that pays better attention to the details. <br />"
