"It went great and I left Harmond and Neli a great review on the chat survey that I wish I had copied to past here as I wrote everything I felt about the Tech and the company and it was all good. I will be using the Neli services again when any of my appliances need attention / repair. Thank You Neli."

"Mike did some quick research and called me back promptly to discuss the options and advise against doing a repair. I was very appreciative of this service that cost me nothing."

"Really great service. My washer was not draining and the door had been giving me problems. Suddenly it would not drain at all. There was an A-10 error on the display and I tried to figure it out for myself but finally had to call someone for assistance. Sam called me the same day that I made the initial call. He was able to get the machine to drain but was also finding a different error message. He called Maytag for more information and ordered the needed part. It had more to do with an F-13 failure and it needed a new doorswitch/latch. It took several days for the part to arrive and once it was there Sam came right back out. He did a great job, was very professional and thorough. Washer is working perfectly. <br />"

"Delivery was on time, they were careful moving the appliances in the house and did a great job installing and hooking up appliances. One of the installers ( not sure, but I think his name was Manuel ) went through a lot of extra trouble and work to get old dishwasher removed and new one installed, as the previous home owner had put new wood flooring in the kitchen up to the dishwasher, which meant the flooring was build up in front, preventing the old one from coming out easily or the new one to fit in. Husband finally had to remove 2 wood planks so there be just barely enough room heigth wise to get the job done. It was not easy!"

"Excellent! From Steve who bid the job, to Amanda who handles the paperwork to Shawn and one other gentleman who did the installation, we can't say how happy we are with the work! My research narrowed down the furnace brands, then we made it clear when soliciting bids we did not want a cadillac furnace but were interested in increased gas efficiency. For the first time over many projects, I did not need to negotiate the bid and go back and forth. This bid was significantly lower (even compared to another very reputable company carrying the same brand) and based on company reviews and friend's personal knowledge of the company, we hired them without hesitation. I should note Steve even suggested a service call that might allow us to limp along for a few more years with our existing furnace. But we decided after 20 years of service life, it was time to replace the system so we didn't need to do it in the winter."

"Very well.  Their goodwill has earned my determination to go to their website next time I need replacement appliance parts. In fact I already have another part for our dryer on order from them."

FAQs for fridge, freezer or ice maker repair or service projects in Rainier, OR

Most ice makers are similar in design, and some parts are interchangeable. However, if your ice maker has advanced filters or special features, it's best to use the same make and model to ensure everything works properly. Ask your appliance repair pro to check your appliance specifications to be sure.

With regular use and proper maintenance, an ice maker typically lasts about four to five years. If you keep up with tasks like changing the filters every six months, you might get up to 10 years out of your ice maker. Address any problems with your ice maker right away by calling an appliance professional to ensure you solve any issues before they escalate, helping to keep your ice maker running smoothly for longer.

Your refrigerator's age plays a big role in deciding whether to repair or replace the ice maker. If your fridge is nearing the end of its average 14-year lifespan, it might not be worth investing in expensive repairs since other parts could fail soon. Getting a diagnosis from a refrigerator repair pro can help you decide what's best.
