"Water Heater Masters were top-notch! I called on a Saturday afternoon - they were available 9am Sunday morning to come and inspect and quote. They only had one guy working that day, but scheduled me for Monday morning between 8 and 9. At 8:15am I got a call with an ETA of 8:45, which was a really nice touch! Despite telling me it would take an entire day to install, they were done by 1pm. They also found some creative ways to do the install to avoid drilling through my stucco (for the exhaust vent and for the condensate run-off). Very professional and clean-looking install. These guys may not always be the cheapest around, and they recommended a top-of-the-line heater (which is what I really wanted anyway), but I'd much rather pay a little extra for that level of service and support. "It was the start of a holiday weekend and I walked outside to a flood in my backyard. Water was gushing up through a large hole underground near the well pump. I had no water to my home or for my livestock and it was heading upwards towards 95 degrees. For four hours I called around trying to find someone who would come help me to no avail. Finally, I called Earl's Plumbing, expecting another voice message, but got an actual human being! He said he could have someone out to my home within half an hour. Travis showed up promptly and got right to work identifying the problem (a broken large-bore PVC pipe underground). He gave me a quote to repair it and had to go get the supplies; which was not easy on this holiday weekend. Travis finished the repairs and we had running water again! He then took the time to answer our questions about another plumbing job we were wanting to have done. We were very happy with how things went.

"The technician was supposed to be doing a plumbing inspection and draining the water heater. My wife was home; the guy was at my place for a total of 20 minutes and did not say much, then left. I wanted to talk with him about what he saw and some possible things to work on, but he just gave my wife the invoice and left. I am not an expert in any way, but I would think it would take more than 10 minutes to drain and inspect the water heater alone. But I would not know since I was unable to speak with him."
