"The two sinks were back to back on a wall and the drain pipe made a T connection to drain out to the sewer. This was impossible to snake out so the plumber opened up the walls under each sink and replaced the T connection with a junction that has a snake access capped entrance that sticks outside of the wall. Unscrew the cap and the pipe is at such an angle that a snake could work properly. It took a couple days to replace the drywall and paint the opening made but the drain now flows freely."

This year, Alliance United completed 3 plumbing projects for us. In Jan-Feb 2023, Alliance United replaced a combined length of 46-ft (approx.) of deteriorating 3-in cast iron sewer line on our 4-unit property. About 30-ft ran under a ground floor concrete slab, under the front steps, and onto the city sidewalk to the city sewer line. A lot of jack hammering and hand digging with shovels was required to expose and replace this deteriorating sewer line. Following city inspection, which passed without a hitch, every bit of excavated dirt/soil was put back in place, compacted, and new concrete was poured to replace all that was jack hammered. In the process, another 3-in sewer line was discovered to be buried under our garage concrete slab that connected to the street. Thankfully, Javier determined (via cable camera) this 18-ft cast iron pipe could be serviced (hydro jetting) and the interior relined using a chemical resin/fiberglass process. That section of sewer pipe now has a strong and smooth resin lumen, fortified with fiberglass, and should last for decades! In early May 2023, a second story toilet and bath tub backed up with raw sewage each time a third floor toilet was used and flushed. Alliance United cut away the ceiling sheet rock on the ground floor and exposed a horizontal 3-in cast iron branch line that was obstructed by scale build up, waste, and rust. Leakage was also imminent due to cracks in the pipe walls. All the connections to this branch line were replaced using ABS, including the 23-ft (approx.) branch line itself. Now the second and third floor toilets flush and the bath tubs drain without any backflow, without obstruction, and without any leaks! In June 2023, we experienced another leak from the ground floor ceiling. When the sheet rock was opened, a 2-in cast iron horizontal branch line that drained the third floor kitchen sink was found to be rusting and leaking from several cracks in the cast iron. This 5-1/2 ft cast iron branch line was replaced with ABS, along with several other cast iron fittings. Like the other two earlier plumbing problems, the Alliance United team resolved this issue like the pros they are! My husband and I are dubbing 2023, the â Year of the Leaksâ ! Throughout each of our plumbing nightmares, there was one plumbing company, Alliance United Plumbing,that helped us to resolve all these problems. "Good Guy Plumbing was able to come out to the house and provide a price quote the same day I called for a job to replace our main water line in front of our house. It had a pinhole leak. The price estimate was fair and a little less than another competing plumbing service in our area. They were able to schedule the plumbing crew to come out the very next day to do the work, and they got it all done in the time frame they promised within just that one day. The two crew members were professional, thorough, answered all our questions, and did a good job of cleaning up when the job was done. They even fixed a small, second leak they happened to see in our sprinkler pipes while they were doing the main line replacement. The new main water line has been in place for over a week now, and everything is working as it should. The only reason I gave Good Guy Plumbing an overall rating of 4.5 instead of 5 is because of a small issue that came up related to the price quoted and the final price. The price quote was based on their initial assessment that our main line should be replaced with a 3/4-inch pipe. However, once the crew dug up the old pipe, they discovered that the old main line had been 1-inch diameter, and installing a new 1-inch pipe added $200 to our final price. The crew let us know as they were starting the job that they would need a larger pipe, and that the price quote would increase by $200. Despite this issue, I think it was an honest mistake which the owner apologized for, and I would use Good Guys Plumbing again."

"They were very fast and had top of the line equipment but I feel like they overcharged me. They even did some upgrades on the sewer main. They were fast , efficient and used best equipment for the job. They put a big improvement by adding sewer line access intake pipes (2) so that you can now clear out sewer Clogs from the back yard intake access pipes without running a snake from inside the bathroom. They did a hydro jet clear out which was expensive but did eliminate the roots which were entangled in the main sewer drain line. That said they did charge very expensive for the job as it was financed thru Syncrony Bank and they did charge it to the max. I should have gotten a senior discount but did not ask as it was emergency rush job which had to be done fast. I Tried to have advanced mechancial do the job first as they are my preferred plumbers and are very reasonable but they declined to do job because they did not want to go up on roof. Then I called clearall."
