"I used Marble and Stonelife because of favorable Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed.  Chris Chai is really into stone. It shows in the pride he takes in his work.  Chris and his helper cleaned, polished and resealed our granite kitchen counters, replaced the caulking that was done incorrectly with grout.  He was able to remove most of the surface scratches but could not get all of them out due to our neglect on our part.  Granite was installed in 2003 and we've done absolutely nothing since then.  He also removed stains and scratches from a marble bathroom vanity that we've also neglected. <br /> We have a 1929 stone tile floor in one bathroom and he was able to clean it and seal it.  We also had him test worn tile in another bathroom.  Although he couldn't restore the damaged tile, he was able to demonstrate that it would be much cleaner once he works on it.  We intend to have him come back and do that work. <br /> His prices are very reasonable and he gives Angie's List members a discount. <br /> I highly recommend Chris.  As long as we have the counters and he stays in business, we intend to have him come back on an annual basis and polish and seal our counters. <br />"

The floors look new, they took care to protect the cabinets and baseboards and gave me lots of good tips on keeping all my stone surfaces looking good. "If you want the best of the best, talk to DIFranco Stone Specialist. We started thinking about remodeling the kitchen, and wanted to replace the old countertops (we have a large kitchen). We like to talk to at least two contractors and get their suggestions and ideas. Tony came out to give us our second estimate, and we immediately knew that we would go with DIFranco. And they never disappointed. He asked what I was thinking of doing and the colors I wanted, within five minutes he had pulled up samples for me to look at, and it was exactly what I was thinking. I was on a fixed budget, and he worked with me to stay within the budget. We found the exact granite we were looking for, and shortly after the project begun. The men that tore out the old countertops were great. They were neat and tidy and did a great job preparing the kitchen. Next Frank came out to do the measurements. And the granite cutting began. I made one change in the plan, and Frank worked with me to make the change. The installers came a few days later. Rafael and Melchor were their precision installers. They left me with beautiful countertops. From start to finish, from Tony, Frank, the office staff, and the workers we had no complaints - only compliments.
