"I called to get my unused chimney sealed up. Even with the flue closed, there was a slight draft on windy days which I didn't mind as much.. It was the wasps living in the chimney (and coming into the house...) that finally convinced me to seal it off at the top. They arrived in just a couple days, the entire operation took around 20 minutes and my chimney has been sealed off."

"We received a visit and bid right away. The bid was reasonable and they worked with the winter weather and our schedule to get our chimney repaired as quickly as possible. We are pleased with the job they did and found them pleasant to work with."

"Very well. My chimney brick was made of old street pavers that were deteriorating and crumbling after 25 years. I had treated and sealed the chimney several times, even plastering over it once, but eventually after 12 years of trying alternatives, I realized that the bad brick needed replacement. I also have a steel roof which can be dented if workers aren't careful, so I wanted a Chimney Contractor that would work with my Roof Installer collaboratively to ensure the chimney got replaced without leaving me a damaged roof. After contacting several chimney contractors, only Full Service Chimney and 2 others convinced me they could do the job, so I asked them for quotes. Full Service Chimney charged $175 for a full pre-inspection and quote for a chimney replacement, but would apply the $175 to my order cost if they got the contract. During the Pre-Inspection by the Owner's son, he even managed to fix an electric gas fireplace that hadn't worked in 5 years at no extra charge! After getting the 3 quotes, Full Service chimney was from 10 to 15% higher than the others, but they were the only ones that fully convinced me they wanted to do the job right. The Full Service team (including the owner) met my Roofer on site to work out a plan to protect the roof ahead of time and they followed the plan very well, resulting in a very good job, with no roof problems afterword. Even a minor disagreement at the end as to whether my chimney caps were 'good enough' or 'needed replacement' was solved by the Owner meeting with me personally to explain their decision and offer to do whatever was necessary to satisfy me. I decided to keep the upgraded stainless steel caps they provided, and they gave me a discount equaling 150% of the current retail value of the painted steel caps they removed. Full Service Chimney was not the cheapest quote, but for something as important as replacing a chimney, they were certainly the best. I recommend them very strongly. I also credit my Roofing Contractor, Carlos Luna, of Midwest Lifetime Roof Systems for the successful project. Carlos installed my steel roof over 10 years ago, but made several trips to my house during this chimney replacement last month to make sure my roof ("his roof") was protected. If you need a steel roof, Carlos and Lifetime are awesome!"

"I'd had a small repair done by this company previously which I felt was well done, and when they submitted a bid that was comparable to two companies who bid on the job last year, I chose them as soon as they submitted a bid.   I asked that they might get the work done early -- at least before my roses began to bloom and they scheduled it promptly -- even before the daffodils came into bloom. <br /> The roofing crew worked quite diligently and I was surprised that they finished almost all the job in one day.  The shingles look good and the crew was very thorough in going through the yard to pick up any nails.  <br /> I had  a couple of small concerns.  Jared came over and touched up a place on the roof where the sealant was visible enough not to be attractive from my office window replacing the sealer and using some "touch-up"  sprinkled with a bit of roof-like texture that blended it very nicely.   <br /> The  original crew came back today to move the roofing back a bit in a place where there was a small gap between the roof and the metal flashing over the bay window.  Probably it wouldn't have affected the water resistance but it is just off my driveway so I see it frequently.  They did a very nice job on this last part and the roof looks great.  I don't know if I can belatedly add a Point of Honor nomination, but the company deserves it for this job.  Well done!"

"Excellent experience from beginning to end. Chris, the sales rep, came fully prepared with samples, installation details and photos, price estimates for 4 different shingles and options, and contract. Walked all around the house telling me how and what they would do from start to finish. No pressure. Two other companies had to be asked for all of this and weren't nearly as professional. Plus Vaught was about 10% lower in price. I was contacted a week before installation began to finalize and coordinate. On first day was introduced personally to the construction foreman by one of the Vaught family and an office manager. Foreman and crew arrived promptly every morning and were always working. They left for lunch but if they were here they were working. They replaced a trim board that had rotted at the end where the roof butted against a flat asphalt roof. The foreman modified this interface so the board ended above the asphalt and the roof was well sealed underneath, fixing the problem. I didn't ask him to do this, he just did it because it was the right thing to do. No charge. They cleaned up every day and went around the yard with magnets to pick up nails and scrap metal. I'm very satisfied would highly recommend them."

"Chris has always been our go to guy for anything exterior of this old house!  He earned that with his great work and fair prices!  We had a bad leak and damage where water had melted after an ice storm. To clarify, the roof was not leaking at the time we called him.  It was, however, in need of fixing so it would not happen again  He answered my call right away and was over in short order.  He and a co-worker got right on the problem, working professionally and getting the job done.  He quickly assessed the problem and gave me his estimate. This man knows roofs and gutters.  My husband and I are resting assured knowing the problem was fixed and we will have no problems with that area of the roof again!   Thanks to Chris! <br />"
