"This company responded to my initial voicemail inquiry to arrange for an estimate only an hour or two after I had called.  A date and time was set up to come over to my son's house for the estimate. The service man arrived promptly. The proposal for the job was emailed to me within a day or two, along with 2 different brochures for a single stage and a dual stage variable furnace, that I could examine. I mailed the signed proposal back to H L Bowman, along with a 1/3 down payment. The job wasn't able to be scheduled until about a month after my first contact, but that was no problem. On the day of the work, 2 men arrived 15 minutes early at 7:15 AM and got right to work. They worked diligently all day until about 4 PM, only taking a short break for lunch. At the end of the job, they had removed and cleaned up all of the old metal parts, ductwork, and the old oil tank.  In its place was a shiny, new gas furnace. They also made sure before they left, that they explained the various parts of the furnace to me and also how to replace the filter. I was impressed with H L Bowman's promptness and professionalism from the first contact for an estimate, to the quality of the job they did when it was completed. We will use this company for any HVAC service needs.
